Starting preschool is a crucial period for young
children, and so much can be achieved in this brief
window in terms of improved social skills, increased emotional regulation and better school
readiness.

Happy Talk Storypoint
Children, parents and early years staff
are visiting the storypoint at the Glen
Resource Centre. The children can
move a train carrying the Happy Talk
rabbits, Nibbles and Twitch along a
track. The rabbits visit local landmarks
on their way: the boys’ and girls’
schools, playground, church, duck pond,
shop and even the tunnel which runs
under The Glen.
