NEW SUPPORT GROUPS
Teen Girls’ Support Group
TCM is excited to share information about a new teen girls’ support group being facilitated by
TCM Counseling therapist, Bethany Cramer, MA, LLPC. The group provides a safe space in
which girls can process topics such as social and family conflict, body image, self-care, and other
general realities facing teen girls as they prepare to transition into young adulthood. There are
activities to promote increased insight and abstract thinking surrounding strengths and weaknesses with a focus on how any identified qualities might impact self-esteem and relationship
with others. Lastly, there is a focus on processing how authenticity in relationships or lack
thereof can impact growth and connection with others.
Survivors of Loss to Suicide Support Group
To help people cope after the untimely death of someone they know, a new Survivors of Loss
to Suicide support group is starting this spring. The program will be held once a month,
beginning Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish, located at 920 Fulton
Street in Grand Haven. The group is free and open to the general public. TCM therapist Jeremy
Drake, M.A., LLPC, along with Steve and Tina Shannon will facilitate the support group. The
Shannon’s lost their 20-year-old son in 2012 to suicide. Anyone interested in receiving
