HISTORY :
The Central Europe Sub Region was founded in October 1992, in Bendern, Liechtenstein.
During the World Conference 1991 in Greece, there was the first discussions to found a new
Sub Region, that includes the German speaking countries in Europe. In January 1992 there
was a meeting in Grossarl, where the decision was made to organize a founding conference
the same year in Liechtenstein.
The countries, namely the National Fellowships of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia,
Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic and Slovakia), Hungary and Liechtenstein decided to
found the new Sub Region Europe Central (24.10.1992).
Each country had sent one delegate in the organizing committee: Rösle Frick for
Liechtenstein, Wato Krüger for Germany, Alfred Partsch for Austria, Vladimir Kopriva for
Czechoslovakia, Jenö Schumicky for Hungary and Lucette Schläppi for Switzerland.
The first Sub Regional Conference took place in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, in August 1993.
 The first elected committee consisted of the following persons:
Rösle Frick, Liechtenstein
Angela Dernbach, Germany,
Gerda-Maria Pazdera, Austria
Kati Schumicky, Hungary
Ivo Slavicek, Czechoslovakia
 The first Constitution of the Sub Region was voted for and accepted on 31.8.2006
at the Conference in Rothenburg o. T., Germany.
