The Rexroth press transfer system allows for smooth
transfer of parts between presses at high rates and
with state-of-the-art safety characteristics. The
IndraDrive effectively controls de-stacking and conveying devices, set down stations, orientation stations, part turning devices, shuttles and main press
drives. This making the Rexroth solution the choice
for today’s Press Transfer System.

Redundant controls provide very-short 2 msec
response times, which are required for today’s machines with high accelerations and speeds. Modes such as
safe drive lockout, - safe operational stop, - reduced
speed, - safe direction, etc. and direct control of the
safety door lock plus background wire pulse testing,
increase safety and productivity.
All movements of the servo axes are referenced to the press
motion through electric cams or via a virtual master axis. Even
more safety is included due to the use of redundant press
encoders.
