Component Control is conveniently located in the Little Italy neighborhood of downtown San Diego,
between Lindbergh Field and the Hard Rock Hotel. Please stop by our annual Open House on Wednesday
to pick up you conference badge, take a tour, meet the team, and enjoy a complimentary lunch from Little

Integrating Quantum with
Web Services Using DIA

Unique to aviation, exchanges may very well be the
most complicated transaction in the aftermarket.
In this session, we will cover the business process,
and identify the fields involved in Quantum. From
there, our next step is creation of meaningful
reports and use of automated tools to better
manage core collection..
Quantum users can benefit from web services to
retrieve information from areas such as denied
trade screening, freight forwarding or currency
exchange rates among others. This session will
show the audience how to use PL/SQL to retrieve
information from a SOAP 1.1 web service, parse the
XML response and store the data back in Quantum.

Stop data exporting from Crystal Reports and start
unleashing focused reporting inside Quantum.
The goal of this presentation is to help you drive
and develop good analytical reporting. If you don’t
have any experience with Crystal Reports you
will understand some highlights that could be the
missing link in your daily reporting.
This presentation will cover a brief overview of
the aggregated demand functions of Purchase
Management and differences between this and
traditional Material Planning systems, and some
reporting ideas to simulate a portion of MRP
messages to account for demand changes and
avoid excess orders.

Shop Control module has key features that we use
in regards to Shop Planning, this includes Purchase
Management to replenish the BOM and assigning
vendors to parts using Part Groups.
A general review of how Avtrade integrates
Quantum with Business Intelligence (SAP) and the
AVNET Intranet/Extranet solution. This will include
an overview of automated internal procedures, live
data transfers, custom notifications, management
of department workflow, identifying and removing
incorrect or duplicated data.

statements including tips on how to investigate
transactions.
This session will form a connection with our keynote
speakers from the FAA with SUP-Suspected
Unapproved Parts, BER-Beyond Economical Repair
or SCRAP and shelf life items. We will provide a
step by step process for both inventory audit and
financial traceability, plus illustrate how users can
conduct paperless transactions with complete
traceability on any part/component which may
be identified as BER-Beyond Economical Repair
or SCRAP, or even cascade this inventory removal
process to shelf life items from your system either
weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annually.
