Tanzania has been the focus of our passion for East Africa for a very long time. It
remains a truly exciting country to visit, with some of the best opportunities for
safaris in all of Africa.
30% of Tanzania territory is a National Park or Game Reserve. The wildlife is
thriving, the landscapes are stunning and the Tanzanians are truly welcoming.
When we talk about Tanzania Tourism we talk about
the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro Crater,
Serengeti, Great Migration, Rift Valley or the spice
Island of Zanzibar.

During this safari you explore
Northern Circuit National Parks in
Tanzania: Arusha NP. Tarangire,
Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro,
Serengeti, Lake Natron and
Kilimanjaro. Those parks are full of

It's a private safari (only you and your guide in the jeep).
A professional guide will be with you all the time. You can also experience early
morning game drives.
The safari vehicle is a a Land Rover or Toyota Land
Cruiser 4x4 jeep with pop-up roof, freezer or cooler box,
binoculars, inverter (for charging batteries) and
professional guide (English speaker). Complimentary
drinks and snacks during the game drives.
The accommodation listed in the program are regularly
visited and inspected.

PROGRAM DETAILS
DAY 1 – Arusha town: Kilimanjaro
airport – Arusha 1 h transfer
Activities: Town tour with local guide.
Program: Pick up customers at
Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to
Arusha by private car for overnight in
town. If you have time you can have a
town tour.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at
Planet Lodge or Ilboru Safari Lodge (half
board).

DAY 2 – Arusha National Park: Transfer Arusha – Arusha NP is
around 45 min.
Activities: game viewing and walking safari.
Program: After breakfast your guide will take you to the Arusha
National Park.
Despite the small size of the park
you can see common animals like
giraffe, buffalo, zebra, warthog, the
black-and-white colobus monkey,
the blue monkey, flamingos and
more. This is the park with highest
number of giraffes in Tanzania. In
the park it is allowed game drive,

DAY 3 – Tarangire National Park: Transfer Arusha - Tarangire NP
is around 2 h.
Activities: game viewing.
Program: After breakfast
proceed to Tarangire National
Park for game viewing with
picnic lunch.
The name of the park originates
from the Tarangire river that
crosses through the park, being
the only source of water for wild

animals during dry seasons. The
park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and
tree climbing African pythons.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or
Roika Tented Camp.
DAY 4 – Manyara National Park: Transfer Tarangire - Manyara is
around 1.5 h.
Activities: game viewing.
Program: After breakfast drive to Manyara National Park for game
drives with picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara NP size is
only 330 sq km (127 sq
miles), of which up to 200
sq km (77 sq miles) is
lake when water levels
are high. This small but
scenic safari park is
excellent for birdwatching and a good area

to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos etc as
well as the potential excitement of spotting a legendary Lake Manyara
tree-climbing lions. You can get off the vehicle at the Hippo pool,
stretch your legs and see the hippos very close.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Country Lodge or
Bougainvillea Lodge or Endoro Lodge.
DAY 5 – Lake Eyasi: Transfer Karatu – Lake Eyasi is around 1.5 h.
Activities: hunting with Hadzabe, visit Datoga and local village. Walk
on lake Eyasi banks.
Program: After early breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi. Here you will meet
the Hadzabe tribe, experience their
lifestyle and follow the hunters in
the bush. Then you visit another
group, Datoga, who is experience
melting metals and making tools
(knife, arrow etc.). You can also visit
a local village and walk on Lake
Eyasi with a local guide who will
explain you everything about the
lake and local people living around

the lake. We recommend
comfortable shoes (not sandals). The land close to the lake is a bit
slippery and muddy, your shoes could be a bit muddy but you can
wash easily. In the afternoon you drive back to Karatu/Mto wa Mbo
for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 – Ngorongoro crater: Transfer Karatu - Ngorongoro gate 30
min
Activities: game viewing.
Program: After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro crater for game viewing
with picnic lunch.
The park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the
world and is home to an
estimated 30,000 animals. The
Ngorongoro Crater is often
called 'Africa's Eden' and the
'8th Natural Wonder of the
World,' a visit to the crater is a
main drawcard for tourists
coming to Tanzania and a
definite world-class attraction.

herds of zebra and wildebeest
graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the
endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests
after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the
crater's ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green
pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as
they have for centuries.

Ngorongoro with crater view, 100 usd supplement per person) .
DAY 7 – Serengeti National Park
Activities: game viewing.
Program: After breakfast drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area
to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch, game viewing en-route.

Serengeti, over 6,000 square miles of sprawling, unspoiled landscape
is quite a sight. Add to that an
extraordinary population of
resident and migratory
animals in a constant bid for
survival, and you understand
why this is often called, "the
world as it was in the
beginning." As soon as you
enter the park, wildlife viewing

begins. Search for leopard and
lion. Watch in awe as zebra, wildebeest and elephant simply appear
from amidst the woodlands and plains.

DAY 8 - Serengeti National Park

Activities: game viewing.
Program: You have a full day
exploring the Serengeti National
Park. The day is dedicated to
game drives in the park. You can
have picnic or hot lunch.
Accommodation: Dinner and
overnight at Kati Kati Tented
Camp or Kisura Serengeti Camp
or Wilderness Serengeti Camp.

DAY 9 - Serengeti National Park and Natron
Activities: sightseeing, walking and game viewing.
Program: After breakfast we leave
Serengeti with game drive en-route
and proceed to Lake Natron. The
scenery there is beautiful especially
the Ngarasero Escarpment, water
falls, the Gorge, Oldonyo Lengai
(still active Volcano) panoramic view
and flamingos in the lake.

Today we plan a walking to the
waterfalls. During the walking you cross the water different times
(you can wear sandals and shorts) and then you can swim and refresh
under the waterfalls.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Natron River Camp.
DAY 10 - Lake Natron
Activities: sightseeing, walking and game viewing.
Program: You can wake up early and wait for the sunrise on the lake,
walk around and see the flamingos. We spend the morning at Lake
Natron. After lunch you leave Natron to Arusha where you arrive for
dinner.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge or Ilboru
Safari Lodge.
DAY 11 – Kilimanjaro National Park
Activities: Trekking to Mandara huts.
Program: After breakfast transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park for full
day trekking with local guide.

The National Park Gate
(1,830m.) lies at the edge
of Marangu, which is an
attractive village with many
small coffee and banana
lantations. After completing
the entrance formalities, we
climb up through attractive
and unspoilt forest to reach
the clearing containing
Mandara Huts (2,700m.)
The volcanic remains of
Maundi Crater are nearby
and make a good extra excursion. Pic nic lunch.

DAY 12 – Arusha town
Program: After breakfast shopping in town (if you have time), then
transfer to Kilimanjaro airport by private car.
