mostly out of stock and HJ60 parts, stock PTO winch with modified braking pin. Recaro seats. Reinforced

78 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ 45 PU
Performance mods:
Yes Anything you would change? I would like more space inside the truck and less rust :-) and dual
transfer or 4.70 gearing in the transfer, perhaps one day, if I win a lottery........
Anything to add: I'm using this Icon of a truck off-roading, sometimes it gets rough. I know
some hardcore LC fans don’t like what I'm doing to the truck. I haven't done anything to the truck
that can’t be redone to original. Regarding all the punishment it gets off-roading..... it can take it,
no problem :-)
Toughest trail or obstacle: That would be Lapland Trophy.
Does everything work the way you want:

Suzuki Samurai Align-Correct HD
Crossover High-Low Steering Kit
FEATUREDPRODUCTS
July
In 2010 Low Range Off Road set out to make the best
steering kit for the Suzuki Samurai. Well, after 3
years of testing, we now have the best system
available on the market today.
Why is it the best? If you have never heard of
Ackerman Steering geometry, it is what makes the
tires avoid slipping while following the path of a turn. While the factory steering system accounts for this
geometry- many if not all of the steering systems
designed for the Samurai do not account for this. Why would this matter? When making a turn, the
inside tire turns slightly sharper than the outside tiremaking it so that your tires do not slip or drag. This avoids
excessive tire wear generally associated with sharp turning- as well as gaining more traction off
road when fully locked up or in a high traction situation. We have designed this steering kit to account for Ackerman Steering Geometry by utilizing the
factory steering tie rod location, and including a taper reamer to ream out your factory taper to
the FJ80 Land Cruiser Taper. FJ80 Joints are like the 1 Ton Joints of the Suzuki and Toyota
world, and offer a 23mm thread, which is almost an inch of thread. We couple the FJ80 Tie Rod Ends with 1/4" Thick DOM Steel Tubing. Almost all other Toyota and Suzuki
steering kits use a thinner material which is not nearly as strong as 1/4" wall. Note: Works on Left Hand Drive Models Only, Right Hand Drive Models Available Soon!
Features:
• 1- Solid Billet CNC Machined Steering Arm, Bi-Color Zinc
Plated for Corrosion Resistance (Not a forging or casting)
• 4- HD Toyota FJ80 Land Cruiser Tie Rod Ends with Jam
Nuts and Cotter Pins.
• 1- HD Drag Link, Full 1/4" Wall DOM Tubing, Powder
coated Black
• 1- HD Tie Rod, Full 1/4" Wall DOM Tubing, Powder
coated Black
• 1- USA Made High Speed Steel (HSS) Tie Rod Taper
Reamer (Custom for Suzuki Samurai, SJ413)
• 2- Grade 10.9 Metric Bolts
• Steering Arm Design allows for use of larger Sidekick
Vented Rotors and Sidekick Calipers. Toyota FJ80 Land Cruiser Knuckle Rebuild Service Kit
with Japanese Wheel Bearings
With all the knuckle rebuild kits available to the
aftermarket, what makes this one better? We have chosen the best quality components,
and not sacrificed quality for price. While some
may include the bare essentials, we continue
that and include the parts that may not be
included in all kits.
Includes: Koyo Wheel Bearings and Koyo
Knuckle King Pin Bearings for long life and
heavy duty usage.
Includes: OEM Inner axle seals for ultimate
longevity and more deflection out of any seal
available for the FJ80 today.
Features:
• Knuckle Seals, Gaskets and even all years of hub seals in case you have an
early or late FJ80 or FZJ80 Land Cruiser. • Shims in two thicknesses for shimming of the trunion or sometimes called
kingpin bearings. • Steel Felt rings are included also- which are non-existent on most kits sold

After the retirement of the original Tweety , a 1987
Suzuki Samurai (pictured above), Tweety II was
born. Tweety II went from a stock 1996 Suzuki
X90 to a highly modified off-road machine. We
featured Tweety II in the February issue of our
Low Range “LowDown” Newsletter. She started
out as black (pictured right) but has recently
received her signature yellow in vinyl wrap.
More mods are coming soon. Bumpers and
sliders are next with other upgrades to follow.
