Venue:
The conference will be held in Białka Tatrzańska
(The “Toporów” Hotel). Białka is a marvellous village
in the mountains situated near the River Bialka, one
of the most beautiful and most untouch Tatra rivers.
Białka is 10 km from Nowy Targ, and in the east, the
River Białka and across from the village Czarna
Góra. From a hill called Litwinka, there is a
picturesque view of the Tatra Mountains - from the
Bielskie Tatras all the way to Western Tatras, with
there peaks: Hawrań, Murań, Tatrzańska Łomnica,
Rysy, Kasprowy, Giewont, and to peaks above
Chochołowska valley. In winter, which lasts
relatively long, you can enjoy cross-country skiing,
but the most popular sport is downhill skiing.
The aim of the conference to present the lates
findings of currently conducted researches. The
speakers come from educational and technical
institutions and universities specializing in
materials and computer science. The conference
should stimulate cooperation in the fields of
education and materials science, and promote joint
projects within the frames of EU programs.
The conference will cover structural characteristics,
properties, modeling, production and applications
of advanced engineering materials.
