MRO-ing Commercial Aircraft
MRO-ing Commercial Aircraft
The Beehive is the embodiment of efficiency, well-designed and carefully
crafted model. A closer look at the workings of a bee colony provides an insight
into JorAMCo’s organizational structure, the efficiency of its employee’s collective
efforts and quality of MRO work.
JorAMCo’s organizational chart is based on talents, resources, and goals of the
organization. In many ways, the beehive organizational ‘chart’ mirrors that of
JorAMCo’s; in reality we mimic the beehive.
The most important task of the worker bees (i.e. technicians) is to produce
beeswax (maintenance tasks) to build and preserve the honeycomb (the aircraft
and its components) and serve the queen bee (the client).
The drones (engineers) analyze the work scope needed and ensure that all
aircraft attendants (technicians) activities are timely scheduled and achieved with
high standards level of safety, quality and turn around time. Every single worker
and drone has a purpose, and is responsible for producing their designated tasks
until the project is complete and the aircraft is released.
The beehive provides us with the methodology for ensuring the
efficient use of expertise, knowledge and distribution of workflow to
upscale our MRO-related services and activities.
Our core infrastructure skills, planning techniques and quality
processes are primed to constantly seek additional capabilities and
adapt to our customers’ MRO needs.
The beehive concept works fantastically in nature and at JorAMCo,
as it is the concept around which our capabilities, strong know-how
and quality characteristics revolve. Our essential goal is to make our
organization works for the aircraft operators of the world to bring them
fast turn around time, stringent quality standards and competitive
pricing.

The Essence of MRO-ing
Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Limited-JorAMCo is a leading company in
the field of aircraft maintenance. Tracing its roots to 1963, when it was
Royal Jordanian’s Maintenance and Engineering Department, JorAMCo

wide range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Airbus,
Boeing, Lockheed and Embraer aircraft.
Based in Jordan, JorAMCo provides maintenance solutions and services
to an expanding client base of international airlines in Europe, Asia and the

showing consistent growth and profitability. Recently, JorAMCo pursued an
aggressive growth strategy to reinforce its position in the market, doubled
the size of its facility, enhanced aircraft capabilities, incorporated state-ofthe-art integrated ERP solutions, increased its workforce substantially and
established a dedicated training academy.
JorAMCo is certified to serve a wide variety of aircraft types and engines
by international and local regulatory authorities such as the Jordanian Civil

JorAMCo’s DNA defines who we are, what we do and how we do it; the DNA
strands carry our core competitiveness, our values, our flexibility, our core
competencies and our passion for what we do. It shapes JorAMCo’s corporate
culture and identity.
We at JorAMCo believe that the success of any organization depends on the
culture of that organization; JorAMCo’s unique corporate DNA establishes a
working culture that serves as a basis for our exceptional setting, satisfying our
customers’ needs, yet excelling beyond their expectations.
The DNA is a blueprint that contains the genetic characteristics, governing the
functionality of living organisms so each organ is engaged and perfected to
execute its role flawlessly. Genetic code consists of three-letter “words“ (e.g. ACT,
CAG, and TTT). JorAMCo’s three-letter- genetic code is MRO.
Our corporate DNA provides an environment where innovation is encouraged
and where culture of excellence can thrive, creating a competitive and flexibility
service environment for our customers.
Our DNA is what makes us unique, and it’s what makes our customers select us

Stemming from our belief that people are the most important asset to the aircraft
maintenance business, JorAMCo established a European Aviation Safety Agency
(EASA)-147-approved training academy in 2007 to secure the flow of certified
mechanics needed for its continuous expansion.
Founded in association with the Air Service Training department at Perth College
in Scotland, the academy currently offers a specialized four-year program.
Completed successfully; students have the option to pursue a bachelor’s degree
in Aviation Engineering at Perth, Scotland.
Accredited by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation authority (UKCAA), the academy
is the only non-EU part 147 approved training school to offer basic ‘Sandwich
Course’ for IR Part 66 Category B license.
Located at JorAMCo’s vicinity in Queen Alia International Airport, the Academy’s

maximizing the learning experience in becoming skilled aviation maintenance
technicians with the international standards JorAMCo follows and implements.
We take pride in associating our name “JorAMCo” with the Academy as it is there,
where the genetic code (MRO) starts to be engineered.
JorAMCo’s Academy is one of the very few schools in the world to graduate
european qualified aircraft maintenance mechanics located outside Europe.
