Update on Industry Events:
47th Annual Calgary RV EXPO & Sale - January 28th – 31st, 2016:
The 47th Annual Calgary RV EXPO & Sale at the BMO Centre in Calgary, AB was a great
success! Even with the down turn in our economy, attendance was up and units sold. The
RVDA of Alberta gave away a $100.00 Safeway gift card daily and a $2,000.00 gift card for
Safeway at the end of the RV show. Two tickets for the Calgary Flames game against the
New York Islanders was given away courtesy of The Calgary Stampede, a prize basket from
Alberta Parks and a 6 night/7 day stay at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park courtesy of
Alberta Environment and Parks was up for grabs! Lots of other prizes from other exhibitors
were given away during the 4 days.
The Calgary RV Show bulk booth displays winners this year were as follows - First Place:
Rangeland RV & Trailer Sales, Second Place: Woody’s RV World and Third Place: Fraserway
RV…congrats to all!

36th Annual Edmonton RV EXPO & Sale– February 11th – 14th, 2016:
The 36th Annual Edmonton RV EXPO & Sale at the Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton, AB
was also a great success! The RVDA of Alberta once again gave away a $100.00 Safeway gift
card daily and a $2,000.00 gift card for Safeway at the end of the RV show. Two gold

Dometic Two-Day RV Technician Training School-February 29th – March
1st, 2016:
The Dometic Two-Day RV Technician Training School still has spots available and will be
held at Southside RV Centre in Red Deer, Alberta located at 2804 Gaetz Avenue from
8:00am until 5:00pm. There will also be a lunch provided each day of the training. To

RV Learning Weekend-May 27th – 29th, 2016:
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta is proud to offer the 4th Annual RV
Learning Weekend on May 27, 28 & 29, 2016 at Ol’MacDonalds Resort. The past 3 years
have been a huge success and we invite everyone to join us for an entertaining and
informative weekend. Whether you have been an avid RVer for years; are contemplating
purchasing a RV or recently purchased a new one, this weekend will benefit everyone.
The seminars will provide everyone with the knowledge necessary to have a successful and
enjoyable RV experience for years to come. In addition, you get to make new friends and
have some fun while you learn! This is a great family weekend. Registration ends on May
