Dive Deep into Fun
D
at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i
reaming of a vacation that combines
magic, adventure and fun with culture,
beauty and relaxation? Look no
further than Aulani, A Disney Resort
& Spa, where the enchantment of Hawai‘i meets
the magic of Disney storytelling.
Voted Number 1 in Travel + Leisure World’s Best Award
2014 for Top Family Hotel in the U.S.A., Aulani is a unique
Resort experience that celebrates the culture and history
of Hawai‘i and seamlessly weaves it together with the
Disney tradition of delivering the highest-quality family
entertainment and service to every Guest. In fact, there are
so many activities and events included as part of your stay
at Aulani, you may never want to leave.
From the moment you step into Aulani you will be
surrounded by art inspired by the stories and beauty of
the Hawaiian islands. Starting with check-in, you won’t be
able to take your eyes off the impressive “Rainbow Wall,”
created by students in kindergarten through Grade 12
across Hawai‘i. Each child was asked to capture the
essence of the islands in a photograph focusing on a
single color. The 138 photos combine to exemplify the
beauty of the islands. “The Hawaiian heritage is woven into
everything Guests see and do at Aulani,” says Kahulu De
Santos, On-Site Cultural Advisor. “It’s one of the things
that make Aulani so special. You are enjoying authentic
Hawaiian experiences.”
But this is just the beginning. On select days you can join
expert hosts for a tour of the art at Aulani that highlights
Hawaiian art in the Guest common areas, showing how local
artists and artisans contributed to the story of Aulani. “We

have one of largest collections of contemporary Hawaiian
art in the world,” says Paul Rivet, Entertainment & Activities
Director. Self-guided tour options are also available every day.
“Make this tour one the first things you do,” Paul suggests.
“It’s a great way to immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture and
get acquainted quickly with the Resort.”
Paul also gave us some suggestions for how to make the
most of any visit to Aulani. “Taking advantage of the
programs we offer as part of your stay is a wonderful way
to deepen and enrich your Aulani experience,” he says. And
activities are plentiful for your Ohana everywhere you go.
Gather at Pau Hana, the community hall, to enjoy various
cultural activities throughout your stay. From ukulele
lessons to lei making, there are activities the whole family
can enjoy together. Activities vary day to day, so make sure
to pick up the Daily ‘Iwa every morning. It is your guide to
most activities offered that day. If you don’t see something
you are looking for, Castmembers are available in the Pau
Hana room to guide you.

Treasure seekers can search the
Menehune Adventure Trail to see
the legend of the Menehune come to life. With a handheld game device and directions to
locations along the trail, the device triggers hidden special effects. “There are about 30
to 40 different effects,” Paul explains. “Can’t find them all in one try? You can come back
another time and pick up your same device to continue where you left off.”
What would a visit to Aulani be without water play? There are boundless
opportunities suited for every member of the family to splash the hours away at
the Waikolohe Valley. Looking for something relaxing? Drift in single or double tubes
along the Lazy River, keeping a lookout for animals hidden in the rock formations.
For the more daring, there’s Volcanic Vertical, an extreme body slide that plunges
you into Waikolohe Pool, or the Tubestone Curl, an open-air, twisting and turning
tube adventure that eventually launches you into Waikolohe Stream. Ride it solo or
with a partner. You might even spend your whole stay in swimsuits and flip-flops!
At Ka Maka Landing, you’ll find enchantment for all ages, from the infinity-edge pool to
Ka Maka Grotto, a misty grotto where you can dive underwater to hear magical sounds
of the seas. It may take a few dives, but you might just hear dolphins or whales
calling. The Landing also features a family whirlpool spa and the Keiki Cove Splash
Zone, designed for kids ages 5 and under.
Want to enjoy some time at the Wailana adult-exclusive pool, a romantic dinner at the
‘Ama‘Ama restaurant or luxurious pampering at the Laniwai—A Disney Spa? Drop the
kids off at Aunty’s Beach House, a complimentary interactive kids club for ages 3 to 12
that offers a variety of activities such as Menehune Musical Mix-Up, Disney Junior Aloha!,
Stitch’s Space Goo and more.
As the day winds down, head to the Mo‘olelo Fire Pit Storytelling, offered several
times a night, to hear Uncle tell colorful ancient stories that have been passed down
for generations. As firelight casts its warm spell overlooking the lagoon, you will feel
transported back in time with the perfect Hawaiian backdrop.
A can’t-miss of any stay at Aulani is the fun and wonder of the Starlit Hui. Gather under
the stars for music, dance and fun—complete with artists, hula, live music and even a
dance party with your favorite Disney friends. “The Starlit Hui is our signature event,” Paul
says. “Everyone loves it.” Make sure to get there for the preshow to get a great seat, No
worries, the kids will be entertained with crafts and activities while they wait.
These activities are just the tip of the wave, according to Paul. “We are so proud of
how much we offer our Guests, and how our activities weave together the fun and
magic for which Disney is known with the culture and heritage of Hawai‘i.”
You will be so amazed by your trip to Aulani, that you’ll never want to leave. But
you can take a little piece of Aulani home with you. As a Cardmember you can enjoy
savings of 10% off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at both Kālepa Store
and Hale Manu.6 You’ll be sure to find the perfect souvenir to remind you of your

Refresh Your Senses at the
Feel Like Disney Royalty
with Ultimate VIP Tours at Walt Disney World® Resort
P
ut on your regal cape and crown, because
when you and your family participate in
the new Ultimate VIP Tours offered at Walt
Disney World® Resort this summer, you’re
going to feel like royalty.
This year, Cardmembers can enjoy 15% off the non-discounted
price of The Ultimate Day of Thrills and The Ultimate Day for
Young Families VIP Tours, as well as The Ultimate Day at Star
WarsTM Weekend.
“We were interested in coming up with ways to offer new services
to our Guests,” says Rob Highfill, Disney Special Activities. One of
the first was to offer a tour especially designed for families with
younger kids. “We discovered our Guests like to have planned
experiences so they know exactly what’s included.”
What makes each of these tours “the ultimate” in fun? Well,
imagine the ease of expedited entrance into some of your favorite
attractions…or the delight of watching a colorful, music-filled show
from some of the best seats in the house. What about relaxing
with a pre-ordered table-service lunch at one of the excellent
restaurants in the Parks, and being whisked from one Theme Park
to another in a comfortable, cool VIP Tour van while enjoying
Disney tunes and cool beverages served by your VIP Tour Guide?”
“We’re especially pleased about offering the lunches on all three
tours,” Rob explains. “Guests order in the morning at the start of
the Tour, so when we stop for lunch, there’s no waiting. You can
really relax and enjoy your food. For families with young children,
it’s an especially nice option, as you get to choose what you
know your children will like ahead of time.”
The Ultimate Day for Young Families offers Guests access
to select family-focused attractions and live seated shows
throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks. The
experience ends with VIP seating for “Festival of the Lion King”
at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
Designed for adventure-seeking Guests, the Ultimate Day

of Thrills takes you zipping, zooming and laughing your way
through all your favorite high-speed thrill rides. “Having expedited
access means Guests get to experience more of what they love.”
“In fact, the tours commit to Guests enjoying more than 10
attractions,” according to Rob. The tours make it possible for
Guests to experience so much during the day.7
The same attention to detail and special treatment is true for The
Ultimate Day at Star Wars Weekend. “This event is already very
popular, so there’s high demand for everything,” Rob says. “One
of the things we’ve done is to open the Darth Mall early to tour
Guests, so they can be the first to shop for special Stars Wars
merchandise. We’ve also created an exclusive entrance and a photo
opportunity with Mickey and Minnie in their Stars Wars costumes.”
In the morning, Guests enjoy a private continental breakfast at
The Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, a
reserved location to see the Legends of the Force Motorcade and
a pre-ordered table-service lunch at one of the Disney’s Hollywood
Studios® restaurants. After lunch, Guests enjoy the best seats in the
house for two shows at the Premiere Theater and then a little time
to explore the Park on their own, with expedited access to some
of their favorite attractions. Guests end the day with a VIP viewing
and have a dessert party for the new Symphony of the Stars
Fireworks show. “It’s quite a day,” Rob says.

The 22nd Annual Epcot® International
Flower & Garden Festival

Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival
he connection between gardening and
eating is obvious, but how many of us enjoy
the satisfaction of harvesting our own
home-grown juicy tomatoes, or fragrant
parsley to savor them on our tables? This year at
the 22nd Annual Epcot® International Flower & Garden
Festival, Guests will learn even more about the fun of going
from flower pot to cooking pot.
“Currently only about 35% of Americans are avid gardeners,” says
Eric Darden, Horticultural Content Manager, “but it is becoming a
fast-growing trend. After all, we all need to eat and drink.” That’s
why, this year, Guests will be introduced to a whole new garden
called “The Urban Farm” that shows them how they can grow
at least some of what they eat at home. “The good news is—you
don’t have to have acres and acres to succeed,” Eric says.
The new garden will show creative ways to grow fruits and
vegetables, including raised beds, container gardening, and
hanging methods that maximize productivity in small spaces.
There’s also a fascinating display of home-size aquatic systems
to raise fresh fish, information about chicken coops and raising
chickens and displays and information about the art of bee
keeping. Guests can even sample the results at Urban Farm
Eats located nearby.
“The team is excited about this new garden because we
all enjoy growing food,” says Eric. “There’s something so
satisfying about saying ‘I’m going to run outside and pick
some strawberries for my cereal this morning!’”
“The Urban Farm” is just one fascinating area to explore. Over
the 22 years since the Festival’s inception, some events and
sights have become traditional favorites. These include the
amazing Butterfly Garden and the Flower and Garden concert
series featuring live
music every weekend
at the America
Gardens Theater.
One of the Festival’s
most popular sights is
the 100-plus Character
topiaries. “I began my
relationship with the
Festival working on
the Character topiaries
22 years ago,” Eric
says. “They’re still a personal favorite. It just wouldn’t be a
Disney festival without them.” This year, Anna and Elsa and
Chip and Dale join the displays.
Capturing the sense of Elsa’s blue Snow Queen gown with
plants was a bit of a challenge, according to Eric. “We used
a variety of ficus (creeping fig) which comes in many shades
to create her shimmering effect,” he says. “We also show the
story of the transformation from winter to summer in the
landscaping around them, going from blues and whites to
swaths of bright color.”
But not all the Disney Characters you’ll see are green and
leafy! So remember to take advantage of the Character

Everything
O
nce upon a time, there was a
story about a girl with a fairy
godmother…a glass slipper…
and a dream that came true.
Her name, of course, is Cinderella.
Everyone knows her from Walt
Disney’s beloved classic animated
film, which we have all watched, sung,
danced and dreamed to since its
debut in 1950.
Now, the beloved heroine is returning to enchant
us again in Disney’s gorgeous live-action film
Cinderella, in theaters March 13, 2015.
Disney’s Cinderella
In theaters
March 13, 2015
When her beloved mother dies and her father
remarries, young Ella (Lily James) welcomes
her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her
daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and
Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home.
But when Ella’s father passes away, she finds
herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new
family. Reduced to the status of a servant and
spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella refuses to lose
hope and is determined to honor her mother’s
dying words to “have courage and be kind.”
A meeting with a dashing stranger in the woods,
an invitation to a ball and help from a kindly
beggar woman (Helena Bonham Carter) change
Cinderella’s life forever and prove that kindness
is not weakness, but strength that can lead to
living “happily ever after.”
Inspired by the original animated classic, the
new live-action feature brings the beloved story

“When the Fairy Godmother appears, there’s a sense that she has been watching
over Cinderella her whole life and that there’s a reason she’s chosen to reveal
herself at this point,” Allison says. “While the Fairy Godmother appears to not be
very together on the outside, she’s actually very wise and sure about what she’s
doing. She also has a way of getting everybody to do what she wants!”
to life with dazzling imagery and fully realized
characters for a whole new generation.
“It is a priority for us to explore how to celebrate
this wonderful character in a way that loves and
respects the animated classic, but in a way that
speaks to where girls are today,” says Allison
Shearmur, Producer.
“Audiences want more complexity in stories
and characters. They want to relate to them on
a deeper level as if the characters are someone
they know or could be friends with.”
“For animated storytelling, both the characters
and their stories have to be more archetypal.
They don’t have complex back stories about
how they became who they are,” Allison
explains. “For instance, in the animated
Cinderella, her kindness, generosity and caring
come through in the animated film, but we don’t
know what has made her that way.”
“Even the romance is a fairytale archetype.
Romance doesn’t really happen that way. We
wanted to give it a deeper foundation. We
spent a lot of time discussing how Cinderella
and Kit (the Prince) could meet and develop a
relationship before the ball, so that when they
do fall in love it is built on everything that’s
gone before.”
And then there’s Cinderella. “In films and stories, superheroes are defined by their
super powers. Cinderella’s super power is kindness. In the film, you meet her as
a little girl, and you get to meet her father and mother and see their influence.
Cinderella’s mother instills the core belief she relies on: there’s power and magic
in kindness. We know what she believes in and why, and we watch her hold to
that belief despite being tested again and again. We understand that her kindness
is not weakness. Her strength comes in knowing who she is, and that’s something
all of us can develop. That’s why she is such an amazing character.“
“There is ancient power in the myth of the underdog,” Allison says. “We all want
Cinderella to succeed. We want to believe that goodness can win out. There’s a
moment in the film when Kit asks her ‘Who are you?’ She answers ‘I’m Cinderella.’
She says the very name that people have used to make her feel bad about herself
and is basically saying ‘who I am has nothing to do with my name.’ It’s a very
moving moment.”
“I suppose what I’m most proud of is how we’ve made Cinderella’s story relevant
to today’s young women with a message that a happy life does not depend on
a rich, handsome man coming along,” Allison says. “Cinderella is a character girls
can relate to. My 12-year-old daughter is thrilled that Cinderella is like someone
she could know and be friends with today.”

F
rom the moment you walk through the
glowing stained-glass doors into the
lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel®
& Spa at the Disneyland® Resort, you’re
immersed in an atmosphere of grandeur, natural
beauty and homey comfort from an era gone by.
Every aspect of the Hotel is inspired by the California Art and
Craft Movement, which is characterized by its nature themes,
use of natural materials and handcrafted workmanship.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa is also reminiscent
of stately historic National Park lodges such as Yosemite’s
grand Ahwahnee.
Massive beams and rafters soar to a sky-lit ceiling six stories
above the Great Hall, where Tiffany-inspired lamps cast
golden light on marble and slate inlaid floors and lush rugs.
Stickley-reproduction furniture is artfully arranged for quiet
conversations, reading or listening to the pianist who fills the
lobby with melody hourly from 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The heart of the lobby is a massive stone fireplace and cozy
inglenook where rocking chairs perfect for papas, mamas and
baby bears invite you to cuddle up to hear Disney storytellers
weave their magic during “Tales from the Hearth.”
“The Grand Californian is possibly one of the largest
structures ever built in the Arts and Crafts style,” says Dan
Coleman, General Manager of Disney’s Grand Californian
Hotel® & Spa. “Yet it feels so welcoming, warm and intimate.
But the Hotel’s truly unique beauty is not the only reason
Guests visit us,” Dan believes. “We offer a grand combination
of activities, hospitality, service and convenience.”
“For one thing, you can enter Disney California Adventure®
Park directly from the Hotel,” Dan points out. “That’s
especially convenient for those who want to take advantage
of the early-morning access offered to Guests at any of the
Disneyland® Resort Hotels.” (Valid Theme Park admission and
active Hotel key card required.) From the entry point, it’s a
short walk to the private Disney Visa® Cardmember
location in Hollywood Land (behind “House of Ice” and
next to “Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!”)
for a Meet ‘N’ Greet with some of your favorite Disney
Characters between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., complete
with a complimentary 5 X 7 photograph.8
During the summer, Hotel staff lead poolside activities
designed with younger children in mind at the three
beautifully landscaped pools, and the luxurious Mandara
Spa offers opportunities for pampering for moms and dads.10
Three restaurants, White Water Snacks, Storytellers Café, and
the award-winning Napa Rose, serve cuisine for everyone
from the most discerning gourmet to the youngest family
members. Disney Visa Cardmembers can also enjoy a
discount for lunch at Storytellers Café.4
For those who want to savor a gourmet meal at Napa Rose
or enjoy an evening adventure without the kids, Pinocchio’s
Workshop offers supervised play and themed activities each
evening from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for children ages 5–12. Access
to the fun-filled space is available to Guests at all three
Disneyland® Resort Hotels (separate fees apply).
With its stunning architecture, unique atmosphere and
exemplary service, it’s no surprise Disney’s Grand Californian
Hotel® & Spa has earned multiple awards, including the Four
Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association
and a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. Those who
want to know more about design and creation of this flagship
Hotel can even take a complimentary tour, “The Art of the
Craft,” available on select days.
“I think so many things about Disney’s Grand Californian
Hotel® & Spa are special,” Dan says. “But what I like most is
the connection with Guests who return year after year. I’m
proud that we’ve been able to make the Grand Californian
feel like their home away from home.”
Blast Off for
Adventure
with “Miles From Tomorrowland”
M
iles Callisto is like many seven-year-olds
you know. He’s rambunctious, funny,
brave and incredibly adventurous.
But unlike other kids, Miles’ life is
out of this world. Literally!
“Miles from Tomorrowland,” a new series which debuted
recently on Disney Junior, takes preschoolers deep into the
galaxy, exposing them to the wonders of outer space—and
the joys of family.
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority has sent Miles and his
boisterous, loving and adventurous family to live and work in outer
space—where their mission is to help create the future of transit
and community, ultimately working to connect the universe.
“The inspiration for Miles came from my own life,” says creator
Sascha Paladino, who has also worked on “Doc McStuffins”
and “Henry Huggelmonster.” “Before I became a parent, my
wife and I traveled a lot and enjoyed a lot of adventures.
When my twin boys were born, I started asking myself what
is the greatest adventure anyone could share with their family,
and the answer was—outer space. I also tapped into some of
my own childhood fantasies about intergalactic adventures.”
Sascha pitched the idea to Disney Junior when his boys were
three months old. “Nancy Kanter, head of Disney Junior,
immediately understood how it could fit in. So we started
working on it.”
When it debuts, Sascha’s boys will be five years old. “It takes a
long time to develop a show that kids will love,” explains Sascha.
“We needed to figure out what the balance between action
and humor should be. We needed to decide whether we
would see Miles going to school in space and having lots
of friends. The show is also very much about family, so we
wanted to create strong relationships between Miles, his sister,
Loretta and parents. Early on, we also decided we wanted
Miles to have a special friend who could be a bit of a protector
when Miles’ curiosity led him into trouble—sort of a boy and
his dog idea. I wanted something Miles could ride that wasn’t
a horse.”
Enter Merc, a multipurpose robo-ostrich with rocket booster
wings, an extendable neck and the enthusiastic, loyal
personality of a puppy.
“In the end, the show is about adventure, but also family
relationships. The creative team is always inspired by the real
relationships within their own families, and those parts of their
lives are reflected in the stories.”
“‘Miles From Tomorrowland’ shows Miles growing up in a
family in this extraordinary situation. Even in outer space—it’s
all about family,” Sascha says.
Take off for the fun, then bring Miles and Merc home for more

“I think if people spend time getting to know these animals—
or any animals for that matter—and then become aware of
the human activities that are impacting them, perhaps it
helps effect a change. That’s what is so great about working
for Disneynature—the company has the ability to reach out to
so many people to raise awareness.”
Share the Adventure of Disneynature’s
Monkey Kingdom
W

somewhere a home is
family. The same holds
true for Maya, a clever and
resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey in

jungles of South Asia. Maya’s world is forever
changed when she welcomes her son, Kip, into
her complicated extended family. When their
longtime home at Castle Rock is taken over by
powerful neighboring monkeys, Maya’s family
is forced to relocate, and she leads them to
untapped resources amidst strange new creatures
and unsettling surroundings. Ultimately, they will
all have to work together to reclaim Castle Rock,
where Maya can hopefully realize her dreams for
her son’s future. Featuring a rich cast of characters,
including a mischievous mongoose, simple-minded
langur monkeys, predatory leopards and monitor
lizards, Monkey Kingdom is directed by Mark
Linfield (Chimpanzee, Earth) and co-directed by
Alastair Fothergill (Chimpanzee, Bears).
“Monkeys are fantastic animals,” says Mark. “I love
them because their society is so rich. I have filmed
monkeys all over the world, including a film I made
18 years ago in this same region, and they left a
huge impression on me. I always wanted to return
to film these monkeys in even more depth.”
Maya’s extended family offered a unique advantage—
they have been studied and documented by

scientists for over 40 years. “This gave us an
invaluable in-depth backstory about each of the
individuals in the troop. We knew who was related to
whom, what their family genealogy and lineage were,
which enabled us to understand more about the
patterns of their interactions. It’s wonderful when you
see an isolated animal in the wild,” Mark says. “But
when you actually know that animal’s family history,
it becomes ten times more fascinating.”
The rich lode of information was also extremely
useful in guiding the filmmakers about what to
film. “When you start off knowing so much about
particular animals, it helps you to anticipate some
of the things that might happen next so you can
be ready to capture unique or unusual behavior
on film. Obviously, that leads to a richer, more
compelling movie.”
To shape their story, Mark and his colleagues
knew they wanted to focus on a female in
order to capture and convey her ingenuity and
determination. But since natural behavior can’t
be directed or controlled, Mark and his colleagues
tapped into their own expertise to make extensive
lists of general monkey behaviors they might
reasonably expect to see during their two-and-ahalf years of filming. “You don’t know for certain
what’s going to unfold, but you can use your
knowledge of the animals to at least be prepared
to capture events as they occur, so we had a
template to start with.”
The next challenge was discovering the particular
monkey who would stand out in the troop. That
alone can take up to a year of shooting and can prove to be
a film-changing experience. “When we were filming
Chimpanzees, we thought we were going to focus on
one chimp, but she turned out to be camera shy,” Mark says
of his previous Disneynature film. “Then another chimpanzee
we hadn’t really planned on featuring was practically doing
cartwheels in front of the camera! So naturally our story
changed. There’s always that element of luck.”
For Monkey Kingdom, Maya, the young female they chose
to follow, proved to be perfect. “Not only is she a very
good-looking monkey, she was also very spirited, industrious,
inventive and resourceful,” Mark says. “You can see her using
her brain in such ingenious ways, and we caught her on
film in some remarkable moments.” One of Mark’s favorite
moments in Monkey Kingdom is a scene of the monkeys
swimming. “They’re diving underwater to forage for food.
It’s amazing how long they can hold their breath!”
Because of her resourcefulness, Maya is able to find food
so that her son can grow up healthy and strong and
potentially go on to lead another group. In fact, it was Maya’s
relationship with her son that touched Mark most deeply.
“She is so focused on him, so dedicated to his well-being.
It’s an incredibly moving relationship that I think we can all
relate to as humans.”
Mark has been fascinated by monkeys since his youth. “They
are so like us in so many ways—how they go about their lives,
the things they fight and struggle for what concerns them.
It’s impossible not to be moved by them.”
Monkey Kingdom is the sixth theatrical release for
Disneynature, which launched in April 2008 with the mission
of bringing the world’s top nature filmmakers together to
share a wide variety of wildlife stories on the big screen in
order to engage, inspire and inform theatrical audiences
everywhere. Disneynature’s commitment to conservation
is a key pillar of the label, and the films empower the
audience to help make a difference. Through donations
tied to opening-week attendance for the previous films,
Disneynature, through the Disney Worldwide Conservation
Fund, has planted three million trees in Brazil’s Atlantic
Forest, established 40,000 acres of marine protected area in
The Bahamas, protected 65,000 acres of savanna in Kenya,
protected nearly 130,000 acres of wild chimpanzee habitat,
cared for chimpanzees, educated 60,000 school children
about chimpanzee conservation and funded research
and restoration grants in U.S. National Parks, supporting
conservation projects across 2.9 million acres of parkland
and protecting endangered species.
For every ticket sold for Monkey Kingdom during opening
week from April 17 through April 23, 2015, Disneynature
will make a donation to Conservation International to help
protect monkeys and other endangered species in their
natural habitats.
