November was another great month and
the Club has survived the hosting of
ZCON 2014 and set new records and procedures. We all should be proud of the
achievement. Nov 3rd general club meeting was well attended with over 40 members. There was a great talk and slide
presentation on restoring cars. There was
our election of officers with a full board
for next year and we had a drawing with
many items given out and our usual 50/50
drawing with $48 going to the winner. Next on Nov 8th was our monthly
drive which was a winery tour of Ramona
Valley where we visited 3 wineries (I purchased 3 bottles of great red wine) and
ended up at Dennis Darnell's breading
ranch with a full size show ring and had a
pasta and salad lunch. Then there was our
Board Meeting on Nov 18 at Coco’s where
a lot of planning went into next years
schedule of events and finishing ZCON
2014 business.
December will start off with the General
Meeting on Dec 2 with guest speaker and
drawing. Then our Christmas Party on Sat
Dec 13 at a new location (Not Coco’s) and
a flyer will be sent out with all the information. The last event of the year will be
monthly Board Meeting Dec 16th.

November General Meeting
Great turn out at the November ZCSD General Meeting. We had Steve Phar as our guest speaker . Steve gave us a presentation of various of his race track venues and synopsis of the Coronado Speed Festival. I want to thank our members present
for their unconditional cooperation and selfish contribution to a very noble cause to help a fellow gear head family from
RGM Auto Repair in Spring Valley.
ZCSD Ramona Valley Winery Run
The Ramona Valley Winery Run was a great event .Started at the Rancho Bernardo Winery were we had a chance to enjoy
some pastries, coffee and of course some wine. The second winery was Chupa Rosa and the third one was Hatfield Creek.
After a delightful wine sampling and wine shopping we were treated to an awesome lunch at Dennis and Carrol Darnall at
their beautiful Ranch; Black Canyon Dressage . Thanks to all club member that attended this event and to the friendly couple
from Arizona Z club that accompanied us on the drive to the Ramona Valley.
