of applications, from simple fan or pump systems to

Harmonic surveys
Consultation and support
If you choose to design your own drive systems, our
customer support and design engineers have an
enormous amount of practical experience solving a wide
range of applications in many different industries. They
are able to provide high quality consultation services to
help you in designing your drive system, from hardware
selection and installation through to software support
Some types of electrical equipment (including standard
drives) are capable of distorting the mains AC supply
waveform. In extreme circumstances this can lead to
troublesome additional heating of electrical equipment,
and even premature failure of electronic components.
Harmonics must be contained within National Standard
ER G5/4-1. Control Techniques Drive Centre staff can
undertake harmonic surveys at your facility to
determine the level of harmonic distortion and where
required, recommend cost effective solutions for new and
existing equipment.
Turnkey projects
Control Techniques are able to offer a complete drive
system design, build and commissioning service. An
engineer will be assigned to the project who has the
appropriate industrial experience. You can feel confident
in a Control Techniques solution, with regular reviews
during the design process and stringent testing prior
to delivery.

all the latest methods in health checking your applications

We are committed to getting you up and running rapidly

Training
Control Techniques offers a full range of training
courses. These can be tailor made for your specific
application and held on site, or you can enrol your
designers, programmers and maintenance staff on
our regular courses at our UK Training Centre. Courses
give insight into practical applications, making full use
of the flexibility and versatility of our drives to
maximise productivity.
All of our drive modules have a standard 2 year warranty.
Extended warranties are also available to give you further
peace of mind.
Drive and motor repairs
Any drive or motor repairs carried out by our Service Centre
mean the product is fully updated and tested to latest
specification with a 12 month warranty. Electrical and
mechanical damage is repaired
using only Control Techniques approved parts.

updates and shipment information. Standard turnaround
time is fast, but we can ensure 24 and 48 hour delivery if

Control Techniques drives are designed and produced
using technologies that reduce energy consumption
and protect the environment. The materials used
within our drives are up to 85% recyclable. We
operate an Environmental Management System
(EMS) which is certified to the International Standard
ISO 14001.
The drives manufactured by Control Techniques have
the potential to save energy in most applications and
through increased machine/process efficiency reduce
raw material consumption and scrap throughout their
long working lifetime. Waste materials are recycled to
reduce any harmful impact on the environment. We
are committed to environmentally sound disposal of
old equipment.
