LINE ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS: “Employee” SmartFind Express Quick Reference Card Sign In: Open your browser and access the SmartFind Express Sign In page. Review the messages above the Sign In. Enter your Access ID (Emp. #) and PIN. Review additional announcements on your home page, if any. System Phone Number 214-­‐306-­‐7920_______ Sub Desk Phone Number 214-­‐496-­‐6052_______ Employee Name and Access ID (Emp. #) ___________________ Write your PIN here ___________________ Web Browser URL: https://coppellisd.eschoolsolutions.com/logOnInitAction.do Before any features are available, you must register with the system and create a PIN. The Access ID (Emp. #) and PIN are used for all interactions with the system. REGISTRATION 1. Call the main system number (214-­‐306-­‐7920) 2. Enter your Access ID (Emp. #) followed by the star (*) key 3. Enter your Access ID(Emp. #) again when it asks for your PIN followed by the star (*) key 4. You will be asked to select a new PIN. Enter a PIN at least six (6) digits in length followed by the star (*) key. 5. Record your name followed by the star (*) key 6. Finally, you will hear the telephone number the system has on record for you and your location(s) and classifications that have been setup in your profile. You are allowed to create absences for the location(s) and classifications listed. 7. Review and complete the SmartFind Express Tutorial at: http://www.eschoolsolutions.com/sfxtraining/employee. 8. Once you have registered with the IVR System, you may create, review and cancel absences at: https://coppellisd.eschoolsolutions.com/logOnInitAction.do. TO CREATE AN ABSENCE Choose the create an Absence link •

Verify your Classification •
Select the reason for this absence •
Indicate if a substitute is required. •
Select Start and End Dates for your absence or Change default Start and End times if needed. If necessary, adjust the times for the substitute if different than the absence times. •
Multiple Day Absences -­‐ enter a date range and select days of the week •
You may specify a particular substitute •
Indicate if the specified substitute has accepted this job if pre-­‐arranged. •
Enter Special Instructions for the substitute to view •
Select the Continue button •
Select the Create Absence button to receive a Job Number. Record this Job Number for your records TO REVIEW/CANCEL ABSENCE OR MODIFY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS Choose the Review Absences link to review past, present and future absences or to cancel an absence. •

Select the format for absence display: List or Calendar view Search for Jobs: enter specific date range or calendar icon, or enter job number or leave blank to return to all your absences. Select the Search button Select the Job Number link to view job details on future jobs From the Job Details screen •

Special instructions can be updated on future jobs. Modify the special instructions and select the Save button. To cancel your job, select the Cancel Job button. If a substitute is assigned to your absence and you want the system to notify them of the job Cancellation, place a checkmark in the box prior to the question “Notify the Substitute….?” Select Return to List button to return to job listing. USE THE SIGN OUT LINK TO DISCONNECT FROM SMARTFIND, AND CLOSE THE WEB BROWSER WHEN YOU FINISH SESSION.
