4 OpenEye Solution Modules
The OpenEye solution contains the following modules for its basic version:
1. Vehicle Tracking / Tracing Module
This module allows users to track, trace and monitor their vehicles real-time. This module includes
three different views; a map view, tabular view and events view.

Map View - Since maps are considered to be the core of any tracking system, our System
provides the user with very powerful tools that enable him/her to interact with the map.
While using the system the user might realize that the map allocates most of the space in
the screen, through this map user can:
 Use the base map as a background to display the area you want to track its vehicles.
 Determine the vehicles exact location.
 Add any other layer and use it in the map display.
 Show the status of specific vehicle when user hover the mouse over the vehicle.

Tabular view: If user is looking for detailed information about the vehicles location,
status, their current speed, acceleration amount then the tabular view is all what he
needs to look at, this part is located in the top of the map view, it contains a list of all
the vehicles that are currently working on the field with their corresponding status.

2. History Replay Module
The History Replay module is used to trace Route and provide a “Replay” of the movement
of the vehicles over a selected duration; Replay will be time-accelerated, and lines will be
drawn to trace the path against recorded data .If Driver was defined, it will be possible to
see who drove the vehicle. User can Replay the vehicles speed, acceleration as well.
3. Reporting Module
The purpose of the Reporting Module is to generate rich reports about the monitored vehicles;
those reports are resulted from analyzing the actual vehicle data to provide the decision takers with
analyzed information about the performance, usage and utilization of the vehicles and drivers.
The available reports are classified into 2 different categories:

Operational Reports: This category of reports shows the data that has been entered to the AVLS
system, the target of this category is to help the end user and the system administrator to get the
detailed data of the entities entered to the system (e.g. Vehicles, Drivers,…..etc).
Analytical Reports: This category of reports shows analyzed information about the live data received
from the tracked vehicles, those reports helps the decision makers and fleet managers in taking the
right decisions according to the analyzed information about the usage, violations, performance, and
utilization of the vehicles and drivers.
The following diagram illustrates the structure of the reporting module

4. GeoReports
Georeport is considered to be a graphic description of the events. By generating this reports
user will be able to allocate all the updating events that happened by specified time and also
it provides a complete visualization of what was going on the roads that will help in incident
analysis. Following diagram shows the results of the generated georeport. The georeports
are divided into two views; event view and map view.
5 OpenEye Optional Solution Modules
The OpenEye solution is a fully customizable solution that can be tailored to the users requirement
and business needs. Much additional functionality can be customized and implemented through this
solution. Openware provides the following optional modules that are charged separately outside of
the basic solution modules mentioned above and can be customized according to the customers’
requirements.
1.
2.
3.
4.
Routing
Fixed route operations
Scheduling and Dispatching
Integration with other vehicle systems like CANbus, Axel weight, temperature, RFID, tyre
pressure etc.
More information on these modules will be provided upon specific requests.
