Dear Character Education Partner,
Minot Public Schools and the Minot Character
Counts! Coalition is proud to sponsor their
eleventh annual "Character Ethics Day” on
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. This year’s event will
be held at the Grand International Inn from
8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Registration/check-in will
run from 8:00 to 8:30 am. The day is open to
students in grades 7 -11. We highly encourage
your school to participate. Schools that have
participated in the past have had wonderful
things to say about the day. It is a great way
to boost your character education program.
There will be a $10.00 fee to each participant
and advisor. The fee covers lunch and also
helps cover the cost of the speaker.
Registration forms are included with this letter
and can be mailed to Erik Ramstad Middle
School, 501 Lincoln Ave., Minot, ND, 58703, in
care of Annette Stach. Please respond at your
earliest convenience so that we can get an
accurate count. Registrations must be received
by April 18, 2011. Schools are not limited this
year to the number of students they bring
however we will be limiting the conference to
150 students.
I know you and your students will enjoy and
most importantly benefit from this uplifting and
energizing day! You will be inspired by our
keynote speaker, Mr. Bob Upgren. Bob is deeply
passionate about encouraging and empowering
