{30 Faces in 30 Days}

“My Power Start began on August 4th, when Kristin came to do my debut party. I have been a Consultant
with Mary Kay for over a year, and I decided it was finally time to start over and do things the “right way”.
I had 9 guests attend my debut. This was the biggest turn out I ever had to a party I hosted myself. It
was so inspiring to me and I knew I had to push for 30 faces in 30 days. I had tried to do a Power Start
before, but I would always come up short. I would usually have people give me the excuse of being too busy
or not having any free time to meet up. I had a talk with Kristin about my concerns and she said that it
was okay to make a “Facial in a Bag” for my potential faces. So, that’s just what I did. That way, I was able
to send it to people who may not even be local. Even ladies that may just be across town, shipping was
cheaper than a round trip in gas. This method also helped me with my time management as well. The facial
bags included a Beauty Book, Hostess Postcard, Business Card, and samples of the products I wanted customers to try. I would
also walk each individual through the steps of a facial either by phone call or text message. Af ter they would complete the facial, I
would send them an offer for either 25% off a single item that they tried or 45% off of the set they tired. I feel so
accomplished and excited to have introduced so many woman to our products and help build my business. I want to take this
opportunity to thank Kristin for everything she does and everything she continues to do for all of us. Thank you, Kristin! I
encourage you to also complete a Power Start! You won’t regret it!”

“I completed my Power Start by not giving up when I was told “no” and continued pushing. Nothing happens
until we sell something right? I know this is where everything happens, putting our products on faces
plants a seed in every person we meet, following up, not judging and not giving up are elements to
transforming that seed into a long term customer or a new team member. Sharing these products is
where our beautiful journey starts! Don’t give up on completing a Power Start, no matter how many “no’s”
