Dear Friends,
’Tis the season for thanks, giving and reflecting upon the memories
of yet another year. What a blessing we enjoy in our passion for the fiberarts.
In our hands we possess a wonderful gift that we can and should share. This tactile
medium from which we derive great pleasure enables us to touch each others lives in
many ways ~ either while stitching socially, or creating something with our hands and our
hearts for family, friends and those in need. It is truly an authentic gift that speaks
volumes more than words can ever express.
All of us at Soft Horizons are grateful to you for including us in your busy lives.
May Your Holidays Be Merry and the New Year Bright with Promise!
Prima Angora Trunk Show & Holiday Open House
Saturday, December 1. Noon to 5:00.
We invite you to join us in welcoming the talented local handspinners of Prima Angora, Deidre & Naomi.
Meet and greet one of their soft and fluffy bunny friends who give us their luscious fibers!
Celebrate the Season with Gifts made Locally and in the USA!
Alpaca! Alpaca! Alpaca! Our very own yarn, alpacas a capella has arrived! Spun of baby and yearling fleeces from Lane County,
it is available in natural undyed shades of white, fawn and light to dark brown shades. The Michigan Alpaca selection broadens to
include greys, charcoals, black and tweed. Thick, felted 100% alpaca insoles will be a welcome addition to boots and slippers for
warmth and added cushion.
More American Yarns! From the Willamette Valley, Prima Angora is 100% pure, luxurious handspun angora rabbit in a variety
of weights. Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s rainbow “Crazy” yarn is a riot of color, featured in knit-alongs around the country. Brown Sheep
Company, an American classic for over 30 years, specializes in classic wool and cotton basics from fingering weight to super chunky!
Ozark Handspun is a whimsical, thick and thin, lumpy and bumpy wool and mohair concoction in candy floss hues that will tickle
your funny bone.

discussion. Instructor: Mona. Thursday Evening, March 7. 6:00 - 8:30. $25.

blocking mats. Instructor: Ruth. Saturday Morning, February 2. 9:00 - 10:30. $25.
