you; how to prevent holes; and learning to work with a color in each hand for maximum speed and no more tangles or tears! Please bring three

ever yearned to learn either method, this is the class you have been waiting for! Being fluent in both styles will make Fair Isle a breeze. In the
Continental method (made popular in the United States by the legendary Elizabeth Zimmerman), the yarn is held in your left hand for a more

five double ended needles can feel as though you are wrestling with a porcupine! How do you join your knitting into a circle and not create
an unintentional moebius twist? After mastering a few easy techniques, you will feel confident and be eager to try seamless knitting in the

THE SECRETS OF READING YOUR WORK AND MASTERING MISTAKES: Explore various repair techniques used in deconstruction and reconstruction of your knits, learn how to “read” your work, duplicate stitch for embellishment or to hide blemishes as

FINISHING: We’ll show you techniques to use as you knit to make finishing easier in addition to teaching you how to assemble your garments

THE HOW AND WHY OF BLOCKING: In our excitement to finish and wear our new creations, we often overlook blocking ~ the essential
finishing touch. This step is as important in making a simple scarf drape beautifully as it is in bringing all the pieces of a garment together in
concert. Learn when and how to steam block and how to use a variety of tools including: T and seaming pins, blocking wires and carpet covered

JOGLESS JOINS FOR CIRCULAR FAIR ISLE AND STRIPE KNITTING: When knitting Fair Isle or stripes in the round, does the
little “ jog” at the beginning of each round bother you? This class will provide you with two methods to create a truly jogless join. Please bring
three contrasting (light, medium and dark) colors in the SAME TYPE of medium-weight yarn and appropriate size 16" circular needles and

INTRODUCTION TO HANDSPINNING ON THE DROP SPINDLE: Making your own yarn is a fascinating and rewarding experience.
