overseas, JL Audio’s commitment to in-house
loudspeaker production continues to grow.
All W7’s, W6v2’s, TW5’s, W3v3’s, some of our ZR
products and most of our marine speakers are
built in our South Florida factory. We also build
our Marine Speaker Systems, Home Subwoofers,
Stealthbox® products and the vast majority of
our enclosed subwoofer systems in Florida.
To pull this off in a competitive world market,
our production engineering team has created
one of the world’s most advanced loudspeaker
assembly facilities. This commitment to stateof-the-art technology allows our highly skilled
workforce to efficiently build JL Audio products
to extremely high quality standards.
While it is also feasible to build good quality
products overseas (and we do build some of our
products in Europe and Asia), it can be challenging
when the product’s technology is innovative or
complex. Since most of our premium loudspeakers
incorporate proprietary, patented technologies
requiring specific assembly techniques, we prefer
that the people who design them have close
access to the people manufacturing them.

W6v2’s take the original recipe and inject it

Offering groundbreaking, large woofer
performance with only 2.5 inches of mounting
depth, the 13TW5 is the ultimate choice
whenever high-quality, high-output subbass needs to be achieved in tight spaces.

This unique subwoofer driver is yet
another example of JL Audio’s commitment
to engineering innovation and proprietary
technology. Patented thin-line woofer
technology compresses the architecture of
the 13TW5 using a “concentric tube” structure
that supports the oversized voice coil and the
suspension attachments. This permits placing
the large motor structure much further
forward in the speaker than with conventional
designs, while maintaining excellent linear
excursion capability and mechanical stability.
In keeping with its “tight-spaces” mission,
the 13TW5 is also optimized for enclosures
that are far smaller than most 12 inch
woofers require and only a bit larger than
the air space needs of a typical, small-box
10-inch woofer. We even designed the
mounting system to allow it to fit in the
same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.

The JL Audio W3 subwoofers have always

power levels. The newest generation of W3’s

The core technology inside the XD
amplifiers is JL Audio’s exclusive NexD™
switching circuitry. This advanced design
achieves very high total amplifier efficiencies
compared to a conventional, large amplifier,
resulting in far less heat, and also less strain on
your vehicle’s electrical system. The NexD™
efficiency advantage, combined with state-ofthe-art microelectronic components allows us
to use very compact heat sinks, dramatically
shrinking the overall size of the product,
without sacrificing clean power output.
XD700/5 Control Panel: All controls are placed on the top of the
amplifier beneath a gasketed, aluminum access panel.

CL-RLC Remote Level Control
• Yes, it’s a true level control for any amplifier! Audiophilegrade preamp circuitry means that the CL-RLC can
be used as a subwoofer level or full-range volume
control wherever you need to adjust the level of a
pair of channels. It employs super-clean differentialbalanced inputs and provides two sets of line outputs:
variable and fixed level (to create a pass-through
for channels you don’t want level controlled).
• The possibilities are endless... zone volume controls
in boats and R/V’s, bass level knobs, rear channel
level, center channel level... you name it!
We’ve used the finest materials and construction techniques
to make sure that your audio signals come out of our cables
exactly the way they came in, without artificial colorations,
