Jambiya dagger from Yemen. The
steel blade is 8 inches long, 2 inches
wide, curved and double edged.
The grip is horn of unknown kind,
set with a filigree rosette and nails,
decorative design. The rear side
of the hilt is mounted with a silver
cover and the ‘’guard is incircled
with a silver band. The scabbard is
wood, covered with brown colored
thin leather and mounted with
nieloed silver chape . Total length

‘’SULTAN’S HEAD . Ca 1900 The
bowl of this meerschaum
(Sepiolite) Turkish pipe features
an intricately carved sultan’s
face. His eyebrows and beard
are extremely detailed. Yellow
browned colored bowl...the
type you can only find on old,
used pipes. The sultan’s head
measures 2-1/2 ‘. Pipe is about
6’’ in length from the end of the
mouthpiece to the tip of the
sultan’s beard. The mouthpiece
is marked VFQ .
