AHDRA celebrated its 30th year of drag racing in 2007 with a season that contained some of the most
exciting championship title contests in the history of the sanction. Numerous national records were set on the track
during the season, including a Top Fuel record of 225.07 mph! AHDRA anticipates that the 2008 season will excel
with even more of the excitement, energy, and adrenaline that can come only from this extreme sport. With 16
different classes ranging from 224-mph Top Fuel bikes to the highly competitive ET class, racers have a wide range
of competition available to them at AHDRA.
AHDRA began as a club racing organization in the late seventies and continued over the years under many
different names. All Harley Drag Racing Association/AHDRA became the official licensed name for the sanction in
1991. AHDRA has seen phenomenal growth over the years, with racer participation that started with 50-60 entries
to events that now range with anywhere from 250 to 450 entries. Motorcycle drag racing fans have increasingly
filled the stands over the years, giving AHDRA a range of 5,000 to 12,500 attendees at each event.
This remarkable sport is considered one of the most exceptional in today's motorsports marketplace. Each
event ticket gives fans direct access to the pits for an up-close look at the motorcycles in competition as well as time
to observe and meet the race teams. AHDRA racers and their crews are always willing to spend time with their fans
to answer questions or sign autographs.

Bison Racing was formed by AHDRA racer Dick Fish to help fund a AMA Super Bike Team for several years. This
year Dick decided to sponsor an AHDRA class with the help of Eagle Harley-Davidson. Eagle Harley-Davidson has
long supported many racers in several AHDRA classes and they have a history of producing lots of horsepower and
championship racers. In 2008 they have teamed up with Bison Racing to sponsor the Bison Racing/Eagle
Harley-Davidson Super Gas Class.
Pingel Enterprise is proud of their relationship with AHDRA and their sponsorship of the Super Eliminator Class.
Founded in 1967, Pingel Enterprise is owned by Wayne and Donna Pingel and is a manufacturer and distributor
of Motorcycle Performance Products. Wayne’s mechanical background has helped him to develop and manufacture
