MAN
Scunthorpe United are embarking on an
unprecedented enrolment spree leading into the
2015/16 season. Mark Robins and Peter Swann know what makes
our club strong and have vigorously targeted their recruitment
in the close season to our utmost strength - the 12th Man.
With the move to a new stadium within reaching distance, it’s an
exciting time to be a supporter of the Iron as we look to push on and
build a talented squad playing entertaining, winning football.
The vision is clear and simple and everyone will need to work
together to make the dream a reality. Everyone at the football club
has realistic visions of the Iron returning to the Championship and
there’s no reason why our 12th Man shouldn’t either.
We will no longer have just Season Ticket Holders at Glanford Park;
we will have one of the biggest squads in football. When you sign on
the dotted line, this becomes just as important to the Chairman, CEO
and Manager as the next player to do so and it will directly influence
our club’s destiny both on and off the field.
Those that sign up for the 12th Man initiative for the 2015/16 season
will be rewarded significantly with a package that they have never
previously experienced before.

of us and it’s time to push on and we
need to use our biggest strength at the
football club; you, the supporters.

When myself and the coaching team
came to the club in October last season,
the team were sitting bottom of the
division but we managed to achieve
safety by putting together a sequence of
results which statistically would have seen
us competing in the play-off positions
had the season started when we arrived.
We know we aren't far away from having
a really competitive team in this division.
We want to play exciting, entertaining,
winning football next season and you can aid us in our efforts to
bring in players who will bring those qualities by signing up as our
12th Man.
To make progress, we need you on board once again. You will be key
and we need our 12th Man to be in constant voice, giving your outand-out support to the team.
The backing we received last season was magnificent - home and
away - and I’m proud of the fan base we have here at Scunthorpe
United. We need to play to our strengths, both on and off the pitch,
and you can help drive us from the sidelines. The 12th Man will help
us win games in 2015-16.
Each one of you who comes forward to support the club, allows us to
take another step towards our goals. It’s your town, your club and
your support is invaluable.

Now is the time to bring the whole team
together – the players, coaching team,
directors, club staff - and most
importantly – you, the supporters. We
all need to be united as we move in the
same direction towards what everyone
hopes is further success at this football
club and you are the most important
part of all.
Since I have arrived at the club, we have had two successful
seasons. We were promoted from League Two at the first time of
asking, setting records along the way. That was backed up with
consolidation in League One and now it is truly time to kick on.
I want to see this club in the Championship and beyond.
I’ve said that from day one and the ambition to see that
materialise looks as strong as ever as the football club grows
into a bigger and more successful business which will further
thrive when we move into our new stadium.
It’s an exciting time to be involved in Scunthorpe United and as the
12th Man you will be with us all the way on the journey we are
taking. Planning has already begun for the new season and our
preparations are well underway both on and off the pitch, but we
need you to be the key weapon moving forward by joining
manager Mark Robins and his coaching staff’s team to be our
12th Man.

CONCESSIONS
To qualify for a junior under 12s season ticket, your date of birth must be after 31st August 2003. To purchase an under 16 season ticket you must be born
after 31st August 1999. To purchase an under 18 season ticket you must be born between 31st August 1997 and 1st September 1999. To qualify for an
18-21 season ticket you must be born between 1st September 1993 and 31st May 1996. To qualify for an over 65 season ticket you must be born before
31st August 1950, because the senior concession age is changing from 60 to 65. However, if you are already in receipt of a senior season ticket you will be
able to continue at the concessionary rate.
