of a New Era
It’s a fantastic time to be associated or to begin your
association with Scunthorpe United Football Club.
With the stadium plans granted and the main contractors
announced, we really have taken strides into the new era of
our history as it begins to take shape – and we want you to be
a part of it. A matchday is a tremendous way to spend your time –
and there’s no better place to spend it than Scunthorpe United
with the host of opportunities we can offer.
We are working on new facilities with our new stadium complex,
but our existing facilities still give you a taste of the level or service
and satisfaction we aim to give everyone who comes for an
experience at Glanford Park. Not only do we offer excellent, affordable prices, which have been frozen once more – along with a Direct
Debit scheme which makes a 12th Man package more affordable –

but we also offer under 12’s, the future of our club, the chance to
enter for free, along with massive savings for supporters under the
age of 16.
We also pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with
the local community and a wide range of local businesses,
which is ever-growing, with many of our current commercial
partners renewing their longstanding support going into
this exciting time to be associated with the club.
We are continuing to offer a wide range of commercial
opportunities, with those only set to expand in the future,
but we maintain our competitive prices.

Our Partnerships
Official Partners
Having an Official Partner status
provides exclusivity for sponsorship rights
for the agreed length of time the deal is
operated under – generally one football
season (from July until June) although this
can be modified to best suit your needs.
The club will help promote brand awareness
and develop a long-standing partnership
with your business aiding both parties to
reach out to our customers and suppliers
and ultimately grow the businesses.
Business Partners
This status is handed to businesses who
become suppliers, or provide regular
services to the club in one way or another
for the agreed length of time the deal is
operated under – generally one football
season, although this can be modified to
best suit your needs. This will be a tightknit relationship and will go much further
than a standard sponsorship
commitment each season.

Stadium Sponsorship
The development of the new stadium is providing a whole host of
new commercial ventures, not least the naming rights of the new
arena and the naming rights of the stands therein.
Our current stadium, Glanford Park, also has opportunities for this
and would give your business priority for a similar role within the
new stadium. This opportunity is not one to be passed up, with
thousands of fans viewing the prominent display every game, with
the name also printed on supporter’s tickets – along with visiting supporters from up and down the country.
With the new stadium set to be a 24/7 complex, this would also appeal to a wider audience for any other events
which are set to take place in the arena.
Boardroom Sponsorship
Promote your brand to the board of directors, along with visiting directors from opposition clubs, while this
room can also be hired out to businesses and used for meetings. Your business will be promoted every single
day of the year this room is in use and it really is a unique opportunity to get involved in.
Scunny Bunny Sponsorship
Our mascot is high-profile and iconic. There is an opportunity to sponsor him or his wife Scunny Hunny Bunny,
who regularly go out and promote the club with visits to schools and community events, while they are also
prominent figures on Iron matchdays – occasionally travelling to away games as well as home fixtures.

opportunity for hospitality and matchday sponsorship will also
be discussed.

in terms of its support and has
raised awareness of the charity and the disease – a big plus for
all concerned.
In future, this could be your business – being an iconic part of
the football club’s progression and playing a visual role of the
kit worn by both the professional players and the fans. Get your

where we have been for the JPT Final and Play-Off Final, both in
2009 and other reputable venues up and down the country.
Rear Shirt Sponsorship
You may think that, with the main shirt sponsor space gone,
there are no further opportunities – but this is simply not the
case. You could see your logo on the back of the first team
playing shirt, another massive branding opportunity for your
company – especially with the volumes of television and media
coverage.
Imagine your logo above the name and number of an Iron star
scoring the winning goal to seal promotion – or above the

Player Sponsorship
Packages are available for you to sponsor your
favourite footballer at Scunthorpe United. A
player sponsorship provides you with a fantastic
memento of the season and has fantastic benefits
as an individual or business to be recognised.
The packages includes:
> Signed match-worn shirt, shorts and socks
from the season of your specified player.
> Your name, a company name or contact details
next to your player’s name on the sponsorship
page of THE IRON; our matchday programme.
> Your name, a company name or contact details
listed next to your player’s name on the official
website – via the player’s profile page and also
on a sponsorship acknowledgement page.
> A photograph with your player and the relevant
item of kit you are sponsoring, taken over the course
of the season – to be arranged to suit all parties.

Scunthorpe United Community Trust is a registered charity that works in partnership with Scunthorpe United Football Club.
Our team delivers community support, initiatives and activities to thousands-upon-thousands of people across the county. There are a
number of different ways you can support this organisation and your support to them will receive unrivalled awareness within the local
community as you become recognised for being a part of their family.
Activities and programmes engage children from a young age, right up to the eldest of supporters, with “welcome to football” programmes
available as well as disability football and also walking football. This, coupled with the national programmes such as NCS and Futsal
scholarships, makes supporting the Community Trust a really appealing venture for a business to get involved in.
The Trust isn’t just about the football either, with the team looking to continually branch out into new things such as Street Dancing and other
exciting programmes which appeal to a diverse group of people.

Executive Box Hire

We have nine executive boxes available for hire
throughout the course of the year, with special
reference to matchdays.
These provide an intimate viewing of the game, with
eight of the nine boxes suitable for up to ten guests,
while the other is a more intimate space holding up
to five guests, with competitive prices available for
birthdays or other celebrations – while still enjoying the matchday experience.
Our boxes offer a package which sees you watch
the game from inside – enjoying a privatised version of out executive lounge, with waitress serving, an
option of food served to your room and an all-round superb experience.
From the moment you arrive at Glanford Park, you’ll be welcomed, shown to your box and from there
your experience with us begins. So whether you want to host clients or celebrate with family and friends,
we’ve got a room for you to enhance your overall matchday experience.
Stadium Advertising

Around 100,000 spectators will watch Scunthorpe United take on their opposition over the course
of the season at Glanford Park, with this providing an ideal way to promote your services to a captive audience over the forthcoming season.
Ground advertisers have the added incentive of seeing their branding on weekly highlight reels,
including Football on 5 and Goals on Sunday, along with highlights shown on Sky Sports and YouTube. If
we are also selected for a live broadcast, this will further promote your brand awareness, making it a
terrific investment for the season.

both goals, with all regularly seen on highlight shows, such as Football on 5.

branch of advertising will only increase, with
the opportunities of digital advertising branching
out to our electronic scoreboard at the new
stadium, along with television screens around
the ground – as stated on the previous page.
We also have a big opportunity on our social media
outlets, where your logo could be displayed alongside
our press releases, on our graphics or simply
advertised during the course of the upcoming season.
We could offer you advertising of sponsorship on:
> Our goal graphics on social media – every time the
Iron score a goal, be a part of our Twitter graphic.
> Other graphics we use on social media such as team
line-up graphics, cover photos and action
photography.
> A standalone advertising space, which we promote
individually and has it’s own space. An official piece
can also be produced for the website, which can be
used throughout the course of the year.

Club Media and
Publications Advertising
Our multi award-winning matchday programme THE IRON
is forming a new-look this season and will be perfect bound
for the first time in the club’s history. That and the fact the
club are giving away one issue to every season ticket holder,
means you’re already guaranteed to reach a readership of
over 2,000 people, which equates to a readership of near
50,000 a season.
This is a fantastic way of promoting your business, with your
package including individual games, a season package or
seasonal adverts, depending on your situation – while the
team could also make it through to a dream stage of a cup
competition, welcoming the likes of Manchester United,
Arsenal or Chelsea to the stadium – a really lucrative
opportunity to get your business noticed.
Full page adverts can be allocated, while half pages are also
available, with prices available on request.
In addition to this, we also have teamsheet advertising available, while opportunities
will arise in the future for fixture poster advertising and other media printed opportunities

We can offer a standard room for your use, such as for a meeting, and leaving you to your own devices or we
can offer a full package, which includes a buffet lunch – and even a club DJ if required. Teas and
