Despite its small size, this handy tuning device has features
often missed in bigger and more expensive tuners:
Ease of use:
You control all operations using an ergonomically designed
5-button keypad. An LC-text-display, which may be switched
to English, German or French output, guides you through the
different activities, so that the use of the TLA TUNING SET
quickly becomes routine.
Analog Opto-electronic Strobe Display:
Frequency differences of less than1/10 Hz may be detected
with this high-precision display. The high accuracy of ¼ cent
(1/400 semitone!) is made possible by a quartzstabilised
frequency synthesiser. In addition, the tone being examined is
separated from extraneous noise by an extremely high quality
filter circuit. This combination ensures that the tuner remains
totally reliable even in very low or high ranges and in noisy
environments.
Historical Temperaments:
The playing of old music with historical temperaments is
becoming ever more popular - especially when the tuning can
be simply achieved using the TLA TUNING SET. All three
tuner versions can handle the 16 most common
temperaments, and can transpose them into any key. The
chosen temperaments designation (e.g. „Kirnberger-III“) may
be read on the LC-display.
Piano Tuning Functions:
5 tuning curves for piano tuning are built in. These automatically compensate for the inharmoniousness of the piano
strings
Automatic Functions:
You can select the tuning pitch manually, or the tuner can
match the instrument’s tone automatically. The push of a
button is all that is required to switch between these two
modes.
Standard Pitch and Cent Functions:
The standard pitch can be set anywhere in the range 380 Hz
to 470 Hz in steps of 0,1 Hz, and also can be measured with
an accuracy of 0,1 Hz. Cent adjustment is possible in the
range +/- 99,5 cent in steps of 0,5 cent. Cents can be
measured with an accuracy of +/- ¼ cent.

These models can „memorize“ your best tuning or your
selfmade „historical“ tuning.

The configuration of this specially developed, fine hand hewn rasp ensures quick and clean performance when
fitting metal pipes into their rackboards.
Hand hewn rasps are notable for their sharpness, good non-clogging properties and increased removal of
material with no increase in effort. The advantages are a direct result of hewing each rasp individually.
Through this painstaking handwork no two rasps have an identical pattern of teeth. This enables each tool to
„work“ and because each tooth is hand hewn, they are thinner and, consequently, sharper.

These high quality Collin melting pots are made to
order and have a capacity of 40 – 1000kg.
They can be heated either electrically or by gas or oil.
The sturdy steel construction features a heatinsulated melting pot and a hand driven stirring

Hot-wax syringe Cat.No. 96100
A device for filling and thus closing up wormholes. The
special hard wax is injected into the wormholes in liquid
form without damage to the workpiece. Once cool, the wax
strengthens the worm-damaged wood which can be then
be further worked on in the normal way.
The hot-wax syringe liquifies the hard wax which is
supplied in light brown sticks. The wax is applied under
pressure by inserting the syringe needle directly into the
wormhole and filling the channel.
Compared to other methods, this system allows the wax to
penetrate deep into the worm channels.

This thread rolling machine, made by Markthaler, will produce
professional coarse adjuster threads.
The well thought out design and very sturdy construction of this
device were conceived for workshop use. Threads of 1.5 – max.
2.2mm diameter can be rolled with extreme accuracy on brass,
aluminium or soft iron wires. Despite the heavy pressure needed
to roll the threads, the actual effort required is considerably light,
owing to the use of ball-race bearings on the roller plates. Even
after rolling a hundred threads, you won’t have to stop because
of tiredness.
The threads can be positioned anywhere along the length of the
wire. The operation of rolling the thread increases the external
diameter of the wire slightly. This is an advantage, as it allows
the buttons to be pushed along the smooth part of the wire as far
as the thread where they can then grip the wire firmly. The super
sharp thread guarantees an optimum grip on leather, plastic and
wooden buttons.

Designed for use with a router, this strong, adjustable, sloping
ramp, made from aluminium, creates an extremely accurate jig
for routing the sloping lips of wooden pipes. The same device

wooden and metal parts too. The cloth represents the equivalent
of 1.5l metal polish. A useful item for the tool bag as it doesn’t take

Payment and delivery terms within Europe as per July 2004
1. All C.O.D. charges to be borne by the customer. At present, C.O.D. charges are 9 Euro. Payments made
directly to our bank account must not be reduced by administrative charges. We reserve the right to
charge in advance or invoice for any difference. The invoice amount must be payed in €uro. German
V.A.T. will be added on all invoices to EU countries for customers without a V.A.T. registration number.
We ask you to include a V.A.T. number if applicable.
2. We incorporate a scaled tariff for carriage and packing charges which, according to the country of
destination, varies between 7 and 36 Euro.
3. The customer bears complete liability for carriage.
4. Order values of less than 30 Euro cannot be accepted.
5. We extend the manufacturer’s guarantee on all brand items which are returned to us at the customer’s
expense and for which the customer pays for return carriage.
6. All goods remain our property until full payment has been effected.
7. Carriage is in accordance with our terms and conditions – ex German border.
8. Variations to the terms of payment and delivery on the part of the customer will not be accepted. It is
understood that the customer agrees fully with our terms of payment and delivery.
