Senior Advice to Incoming Freshmen
**Freshmen, be sure to start on your school work first at
all times and that you are on top of your game, you will
not regret it! - DaJae Wells
**Always stay focused on your goals and never pretend
to be something you are not. - Emilee Nalley
**Hey! It’s not safe to drive on a full stomach, Jack!
Cole Coleman
**Freshman, keep your grades up and don’t take any
small quiz grade for granted. - Chris Cruz
**Do not wait until the last minute for anything.
Michael Macias
**Do your best and work hard no matter what you are
working through. - Nenia Forcey
**Try not to miss school, especially if you have college
classes because they do not wait for you to come back
just because you didn’t feel like coming. So don’t skip
school. - Ashley Spain
**Treat your teachers with respect and never give up.
Justin Bonds
**Freshman make sure to do your work and stay on top
of things because education is high in life.
Brandon Kelly
**Freshman don’t blink, it will be over before you know
it. High School was the fastest 4 years of my life.
Alaina Valentine
**Do not procrastinate! Nothing good will come out of
procrastinating. Trust me! - Brittany Reid
**Work Hard! - David Maddox
**Freshman be sure to work hard throughout your high
school years, it will pay off your senior years.
Ashley Wilkins
**Taylor Minyard, I encourage you to do three things
and that is study, study, and study. Make sure you do
that because every grade counts. - Marcos Martinez
**Don’t ask Coach Ervin for Lemon Heads! Don’t take
every minute of these four years for granted because it’s
over before you know it. Live it up and have fun!
Lacie Rogers
**Get your stuff done when you first get it, if not, all
you’re gonna do is pile on stress. Be yourself, this is just
high school, who cares what people have to say, just be
the best person you can be and make something fabulous
of yourself! - Chase Patterson
**Do not get senioritas at all! You’ll suffer for it. But
still have fun and enjoy yourself! - Brandon Duby
**Set your goals high and standards high. Never settle
for less than your best. - Belinda Reyes
**At 211 degrees, water is hot.
At 212 degrees, water boils.
With boiling water comes steam
and with steam you can power a
train. Don’t settle for just being
hot.
David Corbitt
**Focus on your own actions
and choices; don’t let others dictate your decisions. High school is enough of an adventure without getting caught up in drama. No one benefits
from it. Just make the most of the time you have here
because it flies by fast. - Jessica Zint
**Be yourself - Literally. Don’t let anyone change who
you are. You will become the most unhappy person if
you do. No matter what - always smile, keep your head
high and let your heart smile. - Heather Odom
**Freshmen learn to have motivation and get into doing
different UIL events. Juniors prepare on time to what
college you want to go to and take your SAT and ACT.
Marizela Munoz
**Grades do not determine your intelligence. Don’t focus so much on getting the highest grade, but strive to
learn. Also, don’t take everything in high school so seriously. If you don’t have a sense of humor with things,
you’re not gonna have a good time. - Brittany Bourland
**Push yourself past your limit. Don’t stop when things
get to hard to handle. Life is going too get hard before it
gets easy so always try and never, NEVER give up.
Taylor Legwig
**Respect your teachers and if you need help ask them
so you do not get a bad grade. The teachers are here to
help you. - Tyler Odom
**Enjoy high school. Don’t get caught up in drama with
work; you will have time for that later in life. Keep your
head on straight and don’t forget to smile.
Shelby Ledwig
**Leave a mark. - Michelle Ignagz
**Have a relationship with God, respect your teachers
and fellow students and put forth your best effort in everything that you do. - Christian Avila
**Don’t skip school because you’ll owe hours and the
teachers won’t wait on you and you’ll get behind.
Lulu Rodriguez
**Don’t be late to Mrs. Crouch’s class or you will have
to get a tardy (as it should be). – Eric Garcia
**Do not wait to the last minute to do anything or it will
make for a very stressful 4 years.

grace to labor for.” (Methodist Hymnal) Mrs. Pam Willman
**Lulu and Ashley: So proud of you two, you’ve brought
