Summary
Thank You!
To our community…
Thank you! You made Denver PrideFest the biggest and best celebrations in our history. Over the
weekend, The Center hosted 365,000 guests at Civic Center Park. We cheered for 145 entries in the
CoorsLight PrideFest Parade—the largest we’ve ever produced. Thanks to your support, you came out and
made Denver PrideFest one of the biggest and best annual celebrations of LGBT pride in the country—and
made PrideFest one of the best annual festivals in Colorado.
To our volunteers…
Thank you to the 300 volunteers for the hundreds of hours of work you put into creating Denver PrideFest.
From setting up the festival, managing the entertainment, organizing the parade to juggling hundreds of
other details, your dedication makes everyone in our community proud.
To our sponsors…
Thank you for showing your support of Colorado’s LGBT community. Your financial support and
participation makes Denver PrideFest possible and also helps the GLBT Community Center of Colorado
serve over 40,000 people annually through programs supporting youth, elders, and the transgender
community as well as legal services, advocacy, trainings and host of additional programs. Denver PrideFest
is vital to continuing The Center’s mission to enrich, empower and engage Colorado’s LGBT community.
Denver PrideFest 2014 was an exceptional celebration. Our media impact in 2014 exceeded our
expectations. This summary includes highlights of our marketing campaign for the festival including print,
public relations/editorial, television, radio, web statistics and social media. We hope you are equally pleased
with the results and look forward to working with you again 2015.

“Denver’s PrideFest 2014 continues Sunday
with parade, festivities”
“Will Robinson made the trip with his wife from Sacramento, Calif., to Denver for his first-ever pride fest and parade.
“Standing at the Broadway end of Civic Center park after
having marched 14 blocks down East Colfax Avenue to support the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community,
he was all smiles.”

PrideFest is back, and the LGBTQ community is prepping to hit
the streets where booze flows, bodies grind, rainbow flags wave
and skin burns under the sun. While there are the usual liquor
drenched festivities, thumping dance parties and ample opportunities to cruise, there are less debaucherous options as well, including kickball tournaments, races and kids' parades. Whatever
your tastes, below are ten of the best offerings from this year's
Pride.

Crank up the AC because it's official this weekend:

everyone this weekend, and many of these activities
are absolutely free!

Why Wait? Coloradans Travel to Other States to Marry
DENVER – Long time Denver resident Barbara Harrison wanted to celebrate her 25-year relationship with her partner, Michelle, by marrying in their home state, but they got tired of waiting.
So the couple traveled to New Mexico over Memorial Day weekend to get married, and they hope it won't be long
until Colorado offers the same level of equality.
