WHO WE ARE
Every year, the Ranchman’s Renegades
Bullbustin Inc. hosts an invitational PBR Canada
Professional Bull Riding Event the Tuesday and
Wednesday before the Calgary Stampede. The
event features 30 of the top professional bull
riding contestants, competing for $10,000 in
prize money aboard Canada’s rankest bulls. The
CEO and President of the Ranchman’s Renegades
Bullbustin Inc., Harris Dvorkin, created the event
16 years ago which fulfilled a lifelong dream to
bring a professional bull riding event to Calgary
in support of local charitable organizations.
With help from Arena Director Cody Snyder,
World Bull Riding Champion (1983), the event
has grown from a Ranchman’s parking lot event
to a full-fledged PBR bull riding event that is
attended by 8,000 people over the exciting and
intense two days of competition.
WHO WE SUPPORT
Project Warmth Society of Calgary
Project warmth provides sleeping bags, footwear and
warm clothes for the underprivileged and homeless.
As well, they assist school children and others under
its umbrella organizations; Kid’s Koats, Pupil’s Parkas,
Student’s Scarves, Jacket Racket and Project Fresh
Start. Last year, Project Warmth delivered in excess of
65,000 items of clothing and outerwear to various
shelters, social service agencies and schools.
Alberta Champions
Alberta Champions Society’s goal is to recognize and
honor Calgarians that have made a significant
contribution to the Calgary community. Structural
pieces of steel artwork, architecturally designed, are
commissioned and placed at prominent locations
throughout the City of Calgary to commemorate and
outline accomplishments made by these great
Calgarians, now deceased.
Operation Kickstart Society of Alberta
To satisfy and address the need to educate, and train
numerous individuals having difficulty entering or reentering the workforce, because of age, cultural
disparities, language difficulties, infirmity, disability,
lack of education and problems in meshing with the
requirements of a new society.
