The ride follows a number of pathways and includes a vertical lift. Draw a map of the track that

Did you know!
June 2002 saw the launch of the new $13 million Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster inspired by the
feature film shot at Warner Roadshow Movie World Studios on the Gold Coast.
The coaster cars were carefully replicated from the film. Set in a traditional medieval castle,
the ride is segmented into two distinctive parts. The first section (the ‘ghost train’) preconditions
the thrill seekers in an interior saturated with monsters and demons. The castle is intended to
be overwhelming. The riders’ only comforting sight is our hero, Scooby-Doo, as the car darts
through the ride, closely avoiding ghouls and gargoyles. The second section (the ‘roller coaster’)
then begins with the participants being lifted up to the top of the ride and being immersed in
laser light and atmospheric effects. The car then falls weightlessly down a 7 metre drop, then
back up to a turntable where participants are confronted by a 3D laser tunnel. During the roller
coaster ride segment of the ride, the power of the laser must be limited and laser is kept moving
rapidly enough so that its power is dissipated over a sufficiently large area. Projectors developed
for audience scanning are fitted with fail safe surprise beam block devices to eliminate eye danger.
Scooby-Doo
Scooby-Doo has the distinction of being the longest-running cartoon on television. This mysterysolving Great Dane (formally known as Scoobert) has starred in 310 animated episodes of shows.
Since his name comes from the refrain “Scooby-dooby-doo” from the song ‘Strangers in the
Night,’ Scooby-Doo is also the only cartoon canine inspired by a Frank Sinatra lyric!
Five crime-solvers – the confident leader, Fred; the accident-prone Daphne; the bookish Velma;
the hungry slacker, Shaggy; and our likely hero, Scooby-Doo – make up Mystery, Inc and
investigate sightings of scary creatures. Invariably, the “monster” would
turn out to be a greedy human in disguise, trying to scare away people
for his own profit. Of course, the villain would have gotten away with
it, if it weren’t for those “meddling kids”!
After his debut in ‘Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!’, Scooby-Doo starred
in ‘The New Scooby-Doo Movies’ which featured high-profile guest
stars like Phyllis Diller, Sonny and Cher, Dick Van Dyke, and
Batman and Robin. His feisty and fearless nephew,
Scrappy-Doo, later joined Scooby-Doo in later episodes
of ‘Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!’ and in the series that
followed, ‘Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo’. Very different
to his uncle, Scrappy would meet villians head-on with
the rallying crying of “Puppy Power!” and, more often
than not, would need to be rescued. This series was soon
followed by various special features, ‘The 13 Ghosts of
Scooby-Doo’, and ‘A Pup Named Scooby-Doo’. 2002 not
only saw the birth of a new Scooby-Doo series, ‘What’s
New Scooby-Doo?’, but television’s longest-running
cartoon finally became a live-action film made at the
Warner Roadshow Movie World Studios.

The ride has increased the size of Looney Tunes Village by 30% and, at capacity, carries
up to 1,000 passengers an hour in two 16-seater highly themed trains.
Guests board the sky rocket themed coaster train at the ACME Fireworks Factory Station along
with Wile E. Coyote who then proceeds to chase the Road Runner through the Arizona Desert

It’s an eternal battle of need versus speed, aggravation versus acceleration. Throughout Road
Runner and Wile E. Coyote’s careers in over two dozen Warner Bros. cartoons chronicling the duo’s
encounters, their classic chase formula has never lost its tension. The luckless Wile E. Coyote comes
up with increasingly elaborate and seemingly foolproof schemes to snag Road Runner
who, oblivious to the danger, always eludes the
pathetic Wile E. Coyote’s painstaking plans.

entered radio acting in 1933.

He also provided voices in the feature films; ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ (1988) and ‘Jetsons:

Looney Tunes Character?
Bugs Bunny is arguably the most popular and recognizable cartoon character of
all time. In a classic role and true to his smart-aleck, self-confident nature, Bugs,
rather than flee from a stalking hunter Elmer Fudd, faced him down with a
disarming, unimpressed “Ehh, what’s up, doc?”.
Tasmanian Devil – ‘Taz’ for short, is always whirring
around like a tornado, slicing through trees like a rotary
saw, and feasting on an entire ecosystem of jungle creatures,
Taz has but one thing on his mind: Eating.
Daffy Duck – How could one not feel sorry for an ill-equipped duck with
Daffy’s voice that just can’t seem to get a break? At least Daffy aims high.
And when he fails, he resets the bar…even higher. In the end, he may have
to re-align his bill and sweep up his dignity in a dustpan, but Daffy Duck
always gets something that, unfortunately, he never really hears: a
grateful audience’s laughter.
“I tawt I taw a puddy tat…I did! I did!” With that simple phrase, the world fell in love with a little
yellow canary named Tweety. Throughout their rivalry, Sylvester’s quest for Tweety is relentless,
but the little bird’s innocence triumphs and leaves Sylvester looking for his next meal
elsewhere. Tweety typically relies on allies to outwit Sylvester, like his lovable owner,
Granny, or her menacing bulldog (who wants the pesky cat for himself). But, don’t
underestimate the little bird’s ability to fend for himself. He’s a tough li’l guy, isn’t he?
Poor Sylvester. All the cat food he can eat, and still he insists on
following his instincts by pursuing that most elusive (and painful!)
of meals-Tweety. Sylvester, however, has been the slave of instinct
ever since the earliest moments of his long career. Sylvester
slobbery trademark is “Sufferin’ succotash!”.
One could hardly have pegged the fat, jittery and flop-sweating Porky Pig to become
Warner Bros. cartoons’ first major star. Overall, though, it’s Porky’s endearing nature and
blushing naiveté that add up to a guileless character whose trademark “That’s all Folks!”
is as much a cultural icon as the cartoons themselves.
