RECC Membership - Rath Eastlink Community Centre
Why should I become a member?
Everything you
need to know
about a RECC
A membership at the RECC is an investment in both your
physical and mental health and wellness. Regular activity
strengthens the body, aids the mind in processing life’s
events, and reduces the effects of stress. At the RECC you
can do all this while making memories with family and
growing friendships!
What does my membership include?
MEMBERSHIP
When you join the RECC family you will have access to
the entire facility, including use of the fitness centre,
aquatic centre, ice pad, rock climbing wall, land and water
group exercise classes, recreation programs, discounts on
swimming lessons and more! The RECC aims to be
all-inclusive and accessible to all people in our
communities.
What if I can’t afford a membership?
An annual Adult membership costs $1.89 per day approximately the same price as 1 cup of coffee! We
would be happy to sit down with you and discuss how
you can access the RECC while working within your
budget. For those facing financial barriers, the RECC has
launched a financial assistance program aimed at
ensuring everyone has equal opportunities. Ask our
Welcome Centre staff about the RECC Life Program
(Leisure Inclusion for Everyone).
Is there a sign-up or enrollment fee?
No, you will not be charged a sign-up or enrollment fee
when becoming a member at the RECC. We value honesty
and transparency and want you to be aware of all costs
attached to your membership.

Can I cancel my membership?
If you provide us with a doctor’s note or confirmation of
re-location you can cancel with no fee. If a medical note
or relocation confirmation is not provided, members have
the opportunity to transfer their membership with no fee.
Annual members also have the flexibility to put their
membership on hold for up to 3 months, or 3 times
annually.
When you become a member of the RECC
you invest in yourself, and you are worth it.
