Joyride Cold Brew Kegs
Joyride Cold Brew is crafted
with the same obsessive care
our roasters use with their
coffees. Locally roasted in New
York and San Francisco,, fresh
beans are cold-steeped for 16
hours before kegging. The
Joyride team selects the
season’s best beans for a
perfect flavor. Our dangerously

Cold Brew FAQs
What is cold brew?
Cold brew is a way of making coffee where the grounds are never heated.
Rather, they’re cold steeped for 16 hours, yielding a rich, smooth
concentrate..
What is cold brew made of?
Cold brew is just coffee and water. We don’t add sugar, flavoring or
preservatives.

of seasonal beans. Currently we are using a single origin Guatemala coffee.

Consumption FAQs
How big is a keg?
We use 20 Liter kegs. Each keg is 23.48" high x 9.25" width & depth.
How many servings in a keg?
Ready-to-Drink: 84.5, 8oz servings
Concentrate: 169, 8oz servings (when diluted 1:1)
169, 4oz servings of cold brew concentrate
How much cold brew would an office of my size drink?
Consumption varies by office size, season, and availability of other quality
options. As a rough guide, however, on average an office of 100 people would
likely go through 8 kegs of concentrate/month in peak summer and 1-2
kegs/month in winter.
Is my office too small?
We’ve seen offices as small as 5 people consume sufficient cold brew to
warrant a kegerator.
How many kegerators should I get?
We recommend one kegerator unit for every 150 employees or less and at least
one per floor.

Equipment FAQs
What is a kegerator?
A kegerator is a refrigerator designed to dispense beverages. It keeps them
refrigerated, and the liquid comes out of the taps at the top. We designed our
system to dispense coffee!
How does it dispense?
The cold brew dispenses via a kegerator system using nitrogen, which
pressurizes the kegs and acts as a preservative.
Where does the nitrogen go?
The nitrogen is mounted outside of the kegerator, on the back.
How long does a tank of nitrogen last?
A tank of nitrogen is good for 40-50 kegs.
How many kegs can a kegerator hold?
Up to four, 20 Liter kegs.
Can you move the kegerator?
Yes, it’s a mobile unit on casters.
What kind of outlet does it plug into?
A standard 115 VAC outlet.
What if I already have a kegerator?
All you need additionally is a nitrogen tank and regulator and just hook up the
keg, and you’re ready to roll.
What do I do when it’s finished?
Besides ordering more, just remove the plastic keg from the box and recycle it
like a bottle and the box just like paper..
