Camp registration form.
Required Orientation:
A required orientation is held on
the first day of class at Gateway. This
orientation will familiarize students
with the course format, software, and
expectations.
An ACCUPLACER test will be scheduled
upon successful completion of the
Boot Camp. Placement tests will be
scheduled in CES S205. After taking the
ACCUPLACER, students will be advised
into their spring or summer class.

test and possibly place into a higher level
course saving TIME and MONEY.

Who:
Students placing into Boot Camp or English Level
A (Eng 066) who are motivated, hard-working,
and able to commit to the 6-week program.
What:
In collaboration with community adult
education programs (New Haven, Hamden, East
Haven, ERACE) Gateway is offering a 6-week
English Boot Camp for students wishing to
improve their English/Reading ACCUPLACER
placement test score.

Class will meet for 3 hours a day, 3 days per week.
The English Boot camp classes meet on Monday,
Wednesday, Friday schedule or a Tuesday,
Thursday, Friday schedule. Friday will include
seminars on college and career exploration along
with extra tutoring.
During the Friday session, lunch will be provided
for FREE.
