VENUE
Malmö, Dockan Marina
The Kockum shipyard previously used for shipbuilding has now been
transformed into a beautiful marina. In the summer 2005 the marina was
in the center, when many boats where in the marina to monitor the race for
America's Cup act 5. What continues to drag sailors to the marina is the
unique position that gives sailors walking distance to downtown the spirit
in the marina and the great restaurants by the dock.

a subsidised transport for the international fleet based in the
Mediterranean region, possible shipping from Spain or France.

Malmö is Sweden's third largest city by population after Stockholm
and Gothenburg, and is one of the largest cities in Scandinavia.
Greater Malmö is one of Sweden's three officially recognized Metropolitan
areas and since 2005 is defined as the municipality of Malmö. In 2012, its
population was recorded to be 664,000. The region covers an area of
2,522 square km (974 sq mi).
Malmö was one of the earliest and most industrialized towns of
Scandinavia. Since the construction of the Öresund bridge, Malmö has
undergone a major transformation with impressive architectural
developments, attracting new biotech and IT companies, and particularly
students through Malmö University College.
