At times, a necessary element of law enforcement is the use of force, which ranges from officer presence and verbal
commands to deadly force. While technology and training have continually evolved in this field, there is no one tool or
technique in the police arsenal, which is 100% effective for criminal apprehension. Each time force is utilized in
effecting an arrest or subduing a person, both the officer and the respective governmental entity are conceivable
targets of lawsuits, regardless of how reasonable and justified the use of force. For these reasons, the law enforcement
and criminal justice communities are continually searching for less-lethal tools which would reduce the level of force
necessary for compliance or to effect an arrest, diminish the likelihood and number of both lawsuits and use of force
complaints, and enhance officer safety.

This series of cartridges contains either liquid or
powder filled projectiles designed for barricade
situations. The projectiles are fin stabilized for
accuracy. Since these projectiles are not pyrotechnic
in nature, they do not introduce a significant
fire-starting hazard to the target. These rounds are
available in CN tear agent, CS riot control agent, OC
and inert for training purposes.

CTS manufactures a complete line of smoke cartridges. All our cartridge cases are made of aluminum alloy, not
plastic. Single projectile cartridges in long and short ranges as well as multiple projectile versions are available in
CN tear agent, CS riot control agent, and inert white smoke for screening and training purposes. Multiple projectile
models contain 3 or 5 projectiles. The single projectile and three projectile models are 4.8" long. The five projectile
models are 8" long. These cartridges can be launched from our TL-1 launcher as well as from all current 1.5"
gas guns. The stepped rim at the cartridge base allows the 4.8" models to be fired from the U.S. M203 40mm

These munitions create a powder gas cloud.
Can be used either indoor or ourdoor and has
no fire potential. Cartridges can be launched
from the TL-1 launcher, TL-8 multi launcher,
as well as from all current 1.5" gas guns.
Super-Sock™ is designed to deliver its kinetic energy over a
relatively large area and impart a Less-Lethal impact to
the target.The Super-Sock™ projectile is in its deployed state
immediately upon exiting the weapon barrel. It does not require
a minimum range to “unfold” or “stabilize”. Optimal range is
5 - 15 yards. However, it is stressed that shot placement rather
than deployment range is the critical factor in determining
the extent of injury caused.
These cartridges can be launched from the TL-1 launcher as

40mm Liquid & Powder Barricade Projectiles
Developed specifically for rifled grenade launchers such as the U.S. M203 and
the TGL-1, these cartridges shoot projectiles that engage the barrel rifling.
As a result the projectiles are spin stabilized and therefor highly accurate.
The propelling system is based on the one used in the U.S. M781 40mm practice
round and uses an M212 high and low pressure chamber cartridge case.
This proven design keeps reliability high and costs low. The round is available in CN
tear agent, CS riot control agent, OC and inert for training purposes in the
liquid munitions, and CS, OC, and inert in the powder munitions. Since no fins are
required for stabilization, the total of the projectile length can be
used to contain agent.
The round can be launched from a U.S. M203 or similar launcher such as our

The rubber foam ogive deforms during impact, imparting the kinetic energy over a wider surface. Developed
specifically for rifled grenade launchers such as the U.S. M203 and our TGL-1, this cartridge`s projectile engages the
barrel rifling. As a result, the projectile is spin stabilized and therefore highly accurate. The propelling system is
similar to the one used in the U.S. M781 40mm practice round which uses an M212 high and low pressure chamber

Also available are reload kits. Each kit consists of shell cases, rotating bands, and foam ogives in quantities of

These canister type grenades provide a continuous discharge of smoke under pressure. The Model 62 series is
medium sized having the form factor of the military M83 smoke grenade. The Model 62 series canister grenade discharge
smoke through four angled top ports and a single bottom port.The Triple-Phaser™ is a multiple munitions canister
type grenade. After launch it will separate into three submunitions, each providing a continuous discharge of smoke.
The Triple-Phaser™ innovative ignition and separation design, unique to this type of grenade, provides for reliable operation
and rugged construction.There are three choices of composition available for both the Model 62 series canister type
