The system is software based only
and designed as an added value
crew service application with FBB,
V-Sat & Openport.
The ship owner can, through an
on-shore web interface, configure
each vessel with an IT secured
environment, including messages
& attachments control, data and
time usage limits, bandwidth
management, content control and
satellite transmissions cost control.
In addition, the web administration
interface provides online usage
reports enabling the ship owner to
have full transparency of the crew
satcomm usage.

The crew services can be accessed from any PC or
laptop connected to the vessels network, so that the
crew, officers and captain can simultaneously enjoy
all features from the privacy of their cabins, offices or
common areas.

Standard browsers, E-mail programs and chat clients
will not work as all standard communication ports are
being blocked on the vessel firewall. The ship owner
can therefore offer crew internet and messaging
access and at the same time ensure an IT secured
environment and cost control.
