Programming Degree
BD-IT02 Bachelor of Games and Virtual Worlds
A nationally recognised degree program
for games, simulation and virtual worlds.
This is a partnership between AIE and the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT). It provides professional game programmers
with the skills and knowledge of a computer science degree contextualised with gaming applications, plus core skills in
programming and design. The program is jointly delivered online by CIT and face to face at AIE’s Sydney, Melbourne and
Canberra campuses. It takes six semesters (three years) full-time to complete, or equivalent part-time study.
The Bachelor program contains all of the content in the Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development, Specialising
in Game Programming, with the addition of subjects that focus on developing skills used in the simulation and virtual worlds
industries. Students who complete the Bachelor program have the ideal skill set for the "serious games" field and emerging
industries.

What is VET FEE-Help?
VET FEE-HELP is a loan given to eligible fee-paying students to
help pay for part, or all, of their tuition fees. This means that you
can begin studying without paying any upfront fees. Students
repay the loan to the Australian Government through the tax
system once a student reaches the minimum income threshold
level for repayment.
How do I apply for VET FEE-HELP?
When the time comes to enrol, you will be given the option of
using VET FEE-HELP to pay your tuition fees. To do this you will be
given a copy of the VET FEE-HELP Student Information Booklet to
read and VET FEE-HELP Assistance Form to complete.
