Balkanika Music Television – modern music television with unique format, which started its satellite transmission on
August the 15th 2005 and by the beginning of 2013 offers its program in Full HD quality. For more than nine years
Balkanika Music Televison has been the only television on the Balkan Peninsula that gathers the most popular artists and
the best music hits from all Balkan countries - a unique project with no analogue!
Balkanika Music Television is owned by media group "FEN TV LTD" which launched in 2003 the hit music television
FEN TV.
The precise selection of music content, the presentation of the best musical projects and events from Bulgaria, Romania,
Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Turkey, Montenegro and Albania approved
Balkanika Music Television as the most popular music channel on the Balkans.
MUSIC
Pop, Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop, hit songs with ethno elements from all Balkan countries – all of the topic music
styles are presented by the program of Balkanika Music Television. Our main goal is to entertain and inform
the audience about the best hits and leading artists from all Balkan countries.
The development of the television programming schedule is a result of a careful selection of the best music
projects and artists, in order to meet the requirements of the audience from all Balkan countries, local and
international charts, festivals and music events. Balkanika Music Television is the only television on the
Balkans chosen among the first five nominations on Hotbird TV Awards 2008.
AUDIENCE
Balkanika Music Television covers a wide range of audience of all ages from all Balkan countries as two main groups
are standing out :

47% of the audience are aged 18-26 years old;

41.5% - at the age of 27 – 42 years old;

12.5% ​- up to 17 years old and 42 +.
According to the surveys Balkanika Music Television is an integral part of daily life for mostly urban type of people
and its viewers are active, educated and travellers. About 48% of these households are representatives of the so-called
socially active user group. Over 52% are speaking at least one foreign language and 43% of the audience said that they
learned about the latest music hits from the Balkan countries first by Balkanika Music Television. More than 75% of
them identify Balkanika Music Television as the main source for getting acquainted with the music of the Balkans.
Balkanika Music Television enjoys the highest popularity in the Balkans, where television is among the Top 5 most
watched music televisions and leads convincingly the ranking of the most watched international music television.

After the successful implementation of several own musical events such as "180 days Balkanika Music Television“
– Sofia; concerts of the band "Bijelo Dugme" and "Srebrni Krila" and many others, Balkanika Music Television
created Balkan Music Awards:
Balkan Music Awards since its very first edition in 2010, has established as the largest international musical
event of the Balkan Peninsula. During an official ceremony concert of Balkan Music Awards the most
successful and prominent artists from all Balkan countries who compete in several categories are awarded for:
Best Song, Best Female and Best Male Artist, Best Duet/Group and Best Video on the Balkans.

