Events shall be nominated, if possible, 60 days prior to the first day of the event. 2.
No party shall be deemed liable for damage due to the non-­‐performance directly attributed to circumstances commonly defined as "force majeure". 3.
No sanctioning fee payment has to be made for the nomination of national events 4.
No class representative is sent to the national events, but a representative of the national class shall be present. 5.
The event shall be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-­‐2012 and the Experimental Kiteboarding Competition Rulebook (Appendix BB). 6.
In the case of rule differences, these differences shall be posted in the Sailing Instructions of the event. 7.
ISAF Regulation 19 for starting eligibility shall apply (black-­‐listed competitors) 8.
Competitors excluded from IKA sanctioned events under Rule 76 shall be not entitled to compete. 9.
ISAF Regulation 20 for advertising shall apply (competitors may place personal advertising on their kites, boards and closing without restriction, but ay be required to put event sponsor and class stickers on their board and wear a lycra provided by the organizer) 10. The organizer shall display the IKA class logo on all documents, website etc. 11. The organizer shall display an IKA flag on the event site 12. The organizer shall advertise the event as IKA sanctioned. 13. The organizer may provide pictures and video from the event to be included in the IKA media database. 14. The organizer may issue a short report from the event to be included in the IKA website 15. The organizer agrees to transmit the overall results from each discipline as soon as possible to the IKA for inclusion in the world rankings 16. The IKA, its officers, officials, and sponsors shall not be responsible for any claim or loss, injury or damage arising from the staging of this regatta in whole or part. 17. The organizer will acquire all appropriate insurance including comprehensive public liability insurance for personal injury and property damage arising out of events occurring at the event, insurance against all third party and other risks in connection with the event .
