This hands on workshop will give you the techniques and confidence to build a strong and

hairstyling competitions.
To qualify as a Senior competitor, you must be a member of the professional beauty industry for two (2) or more years.
This includes time spent in school. To qualify as a Junior competitor, you must be a member of the professional beauty
industry for no more than two (2) years, including time spent in school.
Ladies’ Progressive Cut, Color & Style and Avant Garde by NAHA must be completed on a mannequin.
A mannequin or live model will be allowed for A Night at the Oscars® (new for 2016).
Juniors and Seniors compete at the same time, but not against each other.

Show Policy
ISSE Long Beach is open to licensed beauty professionals, cosmetology students and instructors
only. Manufacturers, distributors and manufacturer representatives are NOT eligible to attend this
show unless they are members of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA).
Any attendee observed to be distributing information and/or products or soliciting business in
the aisles, in another company’s booth or in any public areas will have their badge(s) confiscated
without refund and will be escorted from the building. This policy pertains to both PBA member
attendees as well as non-member attendees.
All attendees will be required to show a current license and photo identification before entering the
show floor. No children under the age of 16, including infants, will be permitted on the show floor or
in education classrooms. No strollers, rolling carts or bags with wheels of any kind will be permitted on
the show floor. A complimentary bag check will be available at each entrance.
