Invitation from Collaborator
As the Lunar New Year is approaching, Chinese people are traditionally joining their
family members together to have meal and share the joy to each other, which is
especially meaningful to the elder generation. One of our collaborators, Caritas
invited our team to join their celebration in Tung Chung with their elderly members
on 27th of January 2013. On that day, our team was delighted and touched to share the
great joy and generous of elderly volunteer members who willing to service others
regardless the physical difficulties they encountered. We also much appreciated and
enjoyed the show which was performed by the elderly members. Our team head, Dr
Thomas Choi was honoured to be invited to present the Annual Luck Draw for the
Luna New Year Celebration, and received a souvenir which was hand-made by
elderly member. Everybody was joyful in the celebration and wished a happy, healthy
and prosperity in the Year of the Snake.
