Making a difference
in the lives
of children in our
community.
2015 ANNUAL REVIEW
Together, we raised
Benefiting
When SYNNEX Corporation started SYNNEX Share the Magic
five years ago, we wanted to make a difference in the lives of
children in our community. With the overwhelming support
of SYNNEX vendors and the local community, I am proud to
say that we have made a difference and will continue to do so
for many years.
Over the last five years, SYNNEX Share the Magic has given
more than $3.2 million to the four beneficiaries. None
of this would be possible without our many supporters. I
want to thank SYNNEX partners and associates, Greenville
businesses, friends, and volunteers who have united in the
spirit of charitable giving to make a significant impact in our
community through these four well-deserving organizations.
Our goal is to increase the amount of money raised for these
charities year after year, and we will continue to deliver on
this commitment.
Thank you for caring and giving generously.

Meet the People You Helped
Through the four charities, SYNNEX Share the Magic touches the lives of hundreds of children and
their families every year. To see first-hand four personal stories, visit our “Beneficiaries” page at
SYNNEXShareTheMagic.com.
Clement’s Kindness Fund for the Children was established at the Community Foundation of
Greenville in 2002 to help address the medical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial
needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and serious blood disorders. The fund
provides assistance to families facing the tremendous challenges surrounding a child’s diagnosis,
treatment, and recovery. In addition, the fund provides financial support to the BI-LO Charities
Children’s Cancer Center, which directly impacts the patients and their families.
As a beneficiary of SYNNEX Share the Magic, Clement’s Kindness was able to fund renovations to
the Knox and Priscilla Haynsworth Day Hospital where patients receive chemotherapy and other
treatments. Additionally, they have funded the construction of the Dr. Cary E. Stroud Camper
Care Center, an on-site infirmary at Camp Courage that will allow patients receiving treatments
an opportunity to enjoy a camp experience.
Make-A-Wish® South Carolina grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical
conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. As one of 61
Make-A-Wish chapters across the U.S., Make-A-Wish South Carolina has been granting wishes
for local kids with life-threatening medical conditions since 1984. The chapter has never
turned away a qualified child, and on average, grants three wishes a week. Gifts from the 2015
SYNNEX Share the Magic efforts will provide funding for approximately 32 wishes this year.
SYNNEX Share the Magic has increased, through its substantial generosity, the organizational
capacity of our chapter to serve the many courageous children who need the hope, strength,
and joy that comes from a transformational wish experience. SYNNEX Share the Magic is a
true partner of Make-A-Wish South Carolina, and together, we will serve more children facing
life-threatening medical conditions than ever before. It is philanthropic leadership at its best
and a meaningful legacy of love.
Pendleton Place for Children and Families, founded in 1975, offers programs that protect,
equip, and heal vulnerable children, young adults, and families. Pendleton Place aims to
improve a child’s emotional and physical wellbeing by rebuilding families and providing
a stable home environment.
In fiscal year 2015, over 550 clients and nearly 280 families benefited from the work
accomplished through four key programs. Family Bridges, safe custody exchange, parent
education, and supervised visitation for families; the Assessment Center, a multi-agency
evaluation of families led by Pendleton Place to identify root causes of neglect or abuse and
establish recommendations for a plan to improve the well-being of children; Connections
Count, support and mentoring that equips young adults in need to lead successful lives as
independent adults; and Smith House, a residential home for teen girls.
Since 1992, A Child’s Haven has provided therapeutic intervention and prevention services for
developmentally delayed, abused, and neglected children ages 2-5 in Greenville County. The
organization is dedicated to transforming the lives of young children who have experienced
developmental delays or behavioral challenges. Many are victims of poverty, child abuse or domestic
violence. They provide hope where there is no hope. They meet families in the midst of challenging
situations, and give them the tools they need to look beyond their current circumstances to a
brighter future.
Through SYNNEX Share the Magic, A Child’s Haven has been able to provide therapeutic care to
approximately 650 children in need. The money has also allowed a decreased dependence on
government dollars as well as an expansion of services through the opening of additional classrooms
and a new infant center.

EVENTS

SYNNEX Share the Magic Day
at the Greenville Drive
SYNNEX Share the Magic and the Greenville Drive joined forces for
the fourth annual Day at the Drive on July 20, 2015, at Fluor Field.
The Drive donated to SYNNEX Share the Magic a portion of the
proceeds from every ticket sold. Several of the charities’ children and
their families attended the game and enjoyed a special pre-game ice
cream party hosted by the Drive at their 500 Club. In addition, the
children were given several exciting opportunities to participate,
including throwing the game’s first pitch,
participating as honorary captain, serving as
the team’s bat boy or bat girl, and running on
the field with the players, to name just a few.
SYNNEX Annual Charity Golf Classic
The fourth annual Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by SYNNEX Corporation, took place
on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Holly Tree Country Club. The 25 participating golf teams
ended the day at Bubba Annie’s for the Battle of the Bartenders event, also benefiting
SYNNEX Share the Magic.
Battle of the Bartenders Night at Bubba Annie’s
On Monday, August 17, 2015, Bubba Annie’s hosted its fourth annual
Battle of the Bartenders Event, where SYNNEX took over the bar to raise
money for charity. Special guest bartenders competed for tips, which
were donated to SYNNEX Share the Magic. SYNNEX employees and
friends, along with SYNNEX Share the Magic committee members,
joined together for some fun rivalry to raise money
for charity. Additionally, Bubba Annie’s donated
20% of all bar sales and a portion of catering
proceeds to the organization.
Casino Royale
The Faust Boyer Group served as lead sponsor for the third
annual Casino Night to benefit SYNNEX Share the Magic.
Held at the Greenville Marriott on August 21, 2015, the
event featured casino-style games, auction, music, and a
fantastic buffet. Proceeds from the event were donated to
SYNNEX Share the Magic.
Hale’s Jewelers Event
Hale’s Jewelers hosted its exclusive annual event showcasing exquisite
jewelry in support of SYNNEX Share the Magic on October 28, 2015.
More than 100 people attended in support of the event and enjoyed
cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live music while shopping exclusive jewelry
designers. Hale’s Jewelers generously donated a portion of all sales from
that night and the entire weekend following to SYNNEX Share the Magic.
Hale’s has served Greenville, S.C., since 1856.
Bill Haas Charity Classic
SYNNEX Share the Magic was fortunate to be selected as one of the two beneficiaries of the 2015 Bill
Haas Charity Classic, presented by SYNNEX Corporation. The second annual Bill Haas Charity Classic
was held Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer Course in Greenville, S.C.
The event was hosted by Julie and Bill Haas through their foundation, the Haas Family Foundation.
The classic featured PGA TOUR and Champions TOUR players, and tournament participants received
playtime with the pros.
