A nuestros estimados clientes:
Gracias por haber elegido Wolder AutoBike PRO X-2. Este modelo permite el transporte en su vehículo
de 2 bicicletas, de manera sencilla y cómoda.
Este portabicicletas sólo se suministra como kit de montaje. Antes de usarlo por primera vez, deberá
montarlo de acuerdo con las instrucciones facilitadas en este manual.
1. Recomendaciones de seguridad
Para el montaje y la utilización de este portabicicletas, siga estrictamente las siguientes recomendaciones
de seguridad:
Nota: lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de empezar a montar el portabicicletas. Preste especial
atención a las recomendaciones de seguridad.
Advertencia: compruebe la carga admitida para su vehículo, no debe superarse con la carga de las
bicicletas. El peso tara de este portabicicletas es de 15 kg.
Advertencia: preste atención a la carga máxima de apoyo tolerada para el enganche para remolque.
Carga de apoyo máx. de hasta 75kg: en este caso, se pueden transportar 3 bicicletas; como máximo,
52.5kg.
Carga de apoyo máx.90kg: en este caso, se pueden transportar hasta 4 bicicletas; como máximo 67.5
kg.
Nota: el vehículo debe contar con bola de enganche de remolque homologada con carga de apoyo
máxima de por lo menos de 50 kg. !
Nota: cuando el portabicicletas esté montado al vehículo, debe llevar una placa de matrícula, ya que la del
vehículo queda oculta. De acuerdo con el código de circulación y el decreto de vehículos a motor, se debe
fijar una réplica de la matrícula del vehículo al portabicicletas.
Seguridad técnica durante la conducción
Velocidad: nunca conduzca por encima de la velocidad máxima establecida en el código de circulación.
Le recomendamos que nunca sobrepase la velocidad técnica máxima de 120 km/h cuando transporte
bicicletas en este portabicicletas.
Advertencia: de acuerdo con el código de circulación, el conductor es responsable de la seguridad
de la carga.
Mecanismo de apertura:
Asegúrese de que el mecanismo de apertura está cerrado y correctamente fijado.
Seguridad técnica durante la conducción
Viento lateral: reduzca la velocidad cuando haya viento lateral.
Frenado, acelerado y curvas:
Evite las frenadas y los acelerones bruscos.
No haga giros bruscos.
Marcha atrás y aparcamiento en marcha atrás: tenga en cuenta la longitud del vehículo con el
portabicicletas montado cuando dé marcha atrás o aparque marcha atrás.
Conducción sin carga (con el portabicicletas montado pero sin bicicletas en él). En este caso recuerde
abatir y fijar el brazo de soporte del portabicicletas, para evitar que se desenganche durante la marcha.
Inspección del portabicicletas: una vez haya montado el portabicicletas por primera vez, compruebe
todos los mecanismos de sujeción (tornillos, correas, tuercas) después de un breve recorrido por carretera.
Revise esos enganches con frecuencia (en más ocasiones si realiza recorridos por carreteras en malas
condiciones).
Circulación en el territorio nacional: el portabicicletas para gancho de remolque sobresale con respecto
a las dimensiones indicadas en el permiso de circulación de su vehículo. Recuerde colocar los símbolos
de advertencia obligatorios. Placa V-20.
Advertencias de seguridad para las bicicletas
Fije las partes de la bicicleta: asegúrese de que ninguna de las piezas de la bicicleta se puede soltar
mientras circula (caballetes laterales, timbre, sillín). Durante el transporte no se pueden montar en la
bicicleta Otros accesorios, como asientos para niños, bombas de aire, cestos o porta-paquetes, no pueden
ir sobre la bicicleta cuando esta esté siendo transportada en el portabicicletas. !
Advertencia: durante el montaje del portabicicletas en el gancho de remolque del vehículo, apague
el motor y tire del freno de mano!
Marcha atrás y aparcamiento: de la misma manera que con el portabicicletas montado la largura del
vehículo se ve incrementada, con las bicicletas sobre aquel, tanto la altura como la anchura del vehículo
cambia. Tenga cuidado en los desplazamiento marcha atrás.
2. Normas de uso
Este portabicicletas está diseñado para el transporte de tres bicicletas (hasta un máximo de 4) en el gancho
del remolque de vehículo. Para ello, el vehículo debe ir equipado con un gancho de remolque
homologado. El portabicicletas debe montarse de acuerdo con las instrucciones de este manual. Durante
la marcha, se deben respetar las normas relativas a los límites de velocidad, peso máximo total, etc. En
particular, se debe respetar la carga de apoyo máxima admitida para el gancho de remolque. !

Advertencia: mantenga a los niños alejados del área de trabajo cuando manipule las piezas. El kit
del portabicicletas contiene piezas pequeñas que podrían causar atragantamiento.
6. Montaje
El montaje del portabicicletas se realiza en varias fases. Este capítulo describe detalladamente dichas
fases siguiendo los pasos en el orden que se requiere.

Fase 1
Extraiga del embalaje cada una de las piezas del portabicicletas y divídalos de acuerdo al esquema de la
página 4.
Nota: elimine el material del embalaje respetando las normas de protección del medio ambiente.

Advertencia: al colocar la placa portamatrículas, el piloto con la luz roja (antiniebla) a la izquierda
debe ir a la parte izquierda, según el sentido de la marcha.

7. Cómo anclar el portabicicletas al gancho del remolque
Advertencia: antes de montar el portabicicletas en el gancho de remolque del vehículo, apague
el motor y tire del freno de mano.
El montaje del portabicicletas se efectúa en varias fases. En este capítulo se describen detalladamente
todas las fases en orden.
Fase 1
1) Coloque el portabicicletas en el suelo detrás del vehículo.
2) Conecte el enchufe de alimentación en la toma del vehículo.
Manténgase a una distancia adecuada del portabicicletas y del tubo de escape, para evitar daños
debidos al exceso de calor.
Fase 2
3) Coloque el portabicicletas en el gancho y elévelo levemente.
4) Apriete el tornillo de sujeción a la bola de enganche hasta que el dispositivo quede fijado al enganche.
Tenga en cuenta que este no debe ni oscilar ni moverse sobre la bola de enganche.
8. Cómo colocar las bicicletas en el portabicicletas
Advertencia: Antes de colocar una bicicleta en el portabicicletas, apague el motor y tire del freno
de mano. El vehículo debe estar en posición horizontal, sobre una superficie llana.
Para montar las bicicletas en el portabicicletas, son necesarias distintas fases. Este capítulo describe
detalladamente esas fases en orden.
Fase 1
1) Abra las correas de sujeción de las ruedas. Coloque por un lateral la primera bicicleta en el
portabicicletas con el manillar hacia la izquierda. Después fíjela en la barra vertical con el brazo de
soporte (12).
Fase 2
2) Coloque la segunda bicicleta en sentido opuesto y fíjela con el brazo de soporte Fig. F.
Fase 3
3) Fijar nuevamente todas las bicicletas con las correas de sujeción de las ruedas Fig. D.
Recomendamos
4) Fije además ambas bicicletas en el soporte en U con la respectiva correa.
9. Cómo abrir el portón trasero
Fase 1
Sostenga el portabicicletas con una mano y con la otra tire de la palanca de apertura de portón trasero y
deje que el portabicicletas oscile lentamente.
Fase 2
Vuelva a poner el portabicicletas en su posición inicial antes de retomar la marcha.
Atención: el mecanismo de apertura debe dispararse automáticamente cuando se cierre.
Advertencia: de acuerdo con el código de circulación, el conductor es responsable de la seguridad
de la carga.
Durante el viaje, compruebe regularmente en el retrovisor el estado del portabicicletas.
Pare inmediatamente en caso de que notase alguna irregularidad en el portabicicletas o en la carga.
Retome el viaje tan solo cuando haya resuelto el problema.
¡RIESGO DE LESIÓN!
No debe haber ni personas ni objetos en el área de rotación del portabicicletas.
SUGERENCIAS PARA MEJORAR SU ESTILO DE CODUCCIÓN
¡RIESGO DE LESIÓN O ACCIDENTE!
Como el portabicicletas trasero sobresale del vehículo, en particular cuando está cargado, hay una mayor
tendencia a sobrevirar, especialmente en caso de viento transversal o de frenado, especialmente en las
curvas. Por este motivo, podría producirse una pérdida de control del vehículo que podría derivar en un
accidente, con los consiguientes daños para usted y otras personas.
Conduzca con precaución y adapte la velocidad al tipo de carretera.
No cubra en ningún caso la carga con plástico o materiales similares, ya que podrían interferir en la
conducción del vehículo.
Compruebe regularmente los amortiguadores.
IMPORTANTE
El conductor debe asegurarse de que el cable de conexión entre el portabicicletas trasero y el vehículo no
toque el suelo y de que no haya objetos que se pudiesen enganchar con dicho cable, ya que podría
romperse. Finalmente, fije el cable hacia arriba. Antes de cada viaje, verifique que el dispositivo de
iluminación del portabicicletas trasero funciona correctamente.
IMPORTANTE
El portabicicletas debe montarse con el portón trasero cerrado.
Sustituya las cinchas de fijación, en caso de desgaste o daño.
10. Protección anti robo
Para evitar el robo de las bicicletas:
Sujete las bicicletas mediante los brazos de amarre y una vez apretados al máximo cierre la cerradura para
dejar bloqueado el sistema de cierre.
11. Recomendaciones de mantenimiento y depósito
- Limpie con frecuencia el portabicicletas, utilizando un paño húmedo.
- No utilice productos químicos.
- Asegúrese de que el gancho del remolque está seco y sin grasas.
- Guarde el portabicicletas en el interior, en un lugar seco (sótano, garaje).
12. Recomendaciones medioambientales
Siga estrictamente las siguientes recomendaciones para la eliminación de los embalajes y el producto, de
acuerdo con las normas de respecto al medio ambiente.
Eliminación de los materiales de embalaje
Nota: Los materiales de embalaje deben ser eliminados respetando el medio ambiente (papel y
cartón en el contenedor para papel, plástico y material de embalaje de metal de envases, etc.).
Eliminación definitiva del producto
Advertencia: Respete el medio ambiente cuando elimine el portabicicletas. No contamine.
Las partes metálicas (tornillos, tuercas, chasis, perfiles, etc.) y las partes de plástico (terminales de los
perfiles, correas de bloqueo de los neumáticos, etc.) deben ser recogidas en un punto adecuado de
tratamiento de estos residuos. Lo mismo ocurre con las partes de cristal del grupo de luces.
13. Garantía. Asistencia. Fabricante
El fabricante ofrece una garantía de 24 meses sobre todas las partes portantes de este portabicicletas para
gancho de remolque.
Contacte con el punto de venta para todas las consultas sobre la garantía.
General Wolder S.A. declina toda responsabilidad sobre posibles daños o lesiones ocurridos durante
el montaje del producto o su manipulación incorrecta.
El producto NO DEBE SER MODIFICADO EN NINGUNA MANERA.
Si el vehículo viene equipado con un sistema automático de apertura del portón trasero, dicha función
debe deshabilitarse y éste debe abrirse manualmente cuando el portabicicletas esté montado.

To all our esteemed customers:
It allows you to simply and conveniently transport 2 bikes on your car. This bike carrier is only supplied
in the form of an assembly kit.
Before it can be used for the first time, the bicycle carrier must be assembled as described in these
directions for use.
1. Safety
Strictly comply with the following safety recommendations when assembling and using this bike carrier:
Note: carefully read all these instructions before beginning to assemble the bike carrier!
Comply with the safety recommendations in particular!
Warning: check the vehicle’s tolerated axial load, it must not be exceeded when the bikes are
loaded! The tare weight of the bike carrier is 15 kg!
Warning: check the maximum bearing load tolerated by the tow bar attachment.
Maximum bearing load at least 75kg: in this case, 2 bikes weighing up to 45kg can be transported!
Maximum bearing load90kg: in this case, 2 bikes (or 3,4 bicycles) weighing up to 67.5 kg can be
transported!
Note: the vehicle must be equipped with a type-approved tow hook with a maximum bearing load of at
least 50 kg-must be at least type ST 52-3 or GGG 52.
Note: when assembled, the bike carrier must be equipped with a license plate(the vehicle’s license plate
remains hidden). According to60 StVZO (Highway code) and5b SVG(Motor Vehicle Decree), a
replica of the vehicle’s registration number must be affixed to the bike carrier. Fix a license plate
corresponding to that of the vehicle to the bike carrier before driving on the roads.
Technical safety when driving
Driving speed: never drive faster than the speed prescribed by the Highway Code. Regardless this, you
should never exceed a cruising speed of 120 kph when transporting bikes on this bike carrier.
Warning: according to22 of code StVZO, the driver is responsible for the safety of the load.
Opening mechanism:
Warning: always make sure that the opening mechanism is closed and fastened.
Technical safety when driving
Cross wind: reduce your speed if there is a cross wind!
Braking, accelerating, driving round bends:
Do not brake or accelerate sharply!
Do not make sharp turns!
Reversing and parking in reverse: always bear in mind the vehicle’s overall length with the bicycle
carrier mounted when reversing or parking in reverse!
Driving without bikes (bike carrier mounted but without bikes transported) when driving with the bike
carrier mounted but without bikes on it, remember to fix the bearing arm of the bike carrier to prevent it
from detaching as you drive.
Inspection of the bike carrier: after having assembled the bike carrier for the first time, check all the
fastening mechanisms on it(screws, straps, nuts) after having driven for a short way. After this, these
fastening mechanisms must be checked again at regular intervals(more often if the roads are in bad
condition).
Driving in Italy and Spain: the bike carrier on the tow hook projects beyond the dimensions indicated in
the vehicle’s registration document. Remember to fit on the warning signs required in the respective
countries!
Safety recommendations for the bikes
Fix the parts of the bike: make sure that parts of the bikes are unable to work loose when you are
driving(side stands, bell, saddle)!Accessories such as children’s seats, air pumps, baskets and parcel racks
must be removed from the bike when they are transported!
Warning: When the bikes are mounted, make sure that they project no more than 400mm from the
outer edge of the bike carrier lights!
Warning: when the bike carrier is fitted on to the vehicle’s tow hook, switch off the engine, turn the
ignition key to the off position and apply the hand brake!
Note: attach the European Driving Permit (EEC) to the vehicle’s registration documents. Keep the EEC
permit ready to hand for inspection by the pertinent authorities!
Back up and parking: When the bike carrier is mounted, the total width of the vehicle increased. The
same bikes can increase the width and the total height of the vehicle. Be careful in backward motion.
2. Approved use
The bike carrier is designed for transporting 2 bikes (3, max.4bikes) on the tow hook of a vehicle. The
vehicle must be equipped with a type-approved tow hook. The bike carrier must be assembled in
compliance with the instructions in this handbook. Comply with the pertinent laws in force when driving
(speed limits, total maximum weight, etc.). Tack particular care to comply with the tow hook’s tolerated
maximum bearing load.

The bike carrier kit contains tiny components that could be swallowed!
6. Assembly
The bike carrier is assembled in various different phases. This chapter describes these phases in detail, in
the succession required.
Phase 1
Remove the individual components of the bike carrier from the package and divide them as shown in the
drawing on the page (4. items supplied).
Note: respect the environment when disposing of the packing material. Do not litter!

7. How to assemble the bike carrier on the tow hook
Warning: before fitting the bike carrier on to the vehicle’s tow hook, switch off the engine, turn the
ignition key to the off position and apply the hand brake!
The bike carrier is fitted on to the vehicle’s tow hook in various different phases. This chapter describes
these phases in detail, in the succession required.
Phase 1
1) Place the bike carrier on the ground behind the vehicle.
2) Fit the power plug into the vehicle’s socket.
Keep at due distance from the bike carrier /bike and the tail pipe of the car in order to avoid any
damages due to the excessive heat.
Phase 2
3) Now you have to open the quick stop system Fig.A.
4) Afterwards you can connect the rear towbar bike carrier to the towing hitch and you have to lift it
slightly Fig.B.
5) Now you have to push down the quick stop system Fig.C.
8. How to fit the bikes on the bike carrier
Warning: before fitting bikes on to the bike carrier, switch off the engine, turn the ignition key to the off
position and apply the hand brake! The vehicle must be in a horizontal position.
Bikes are fitted on to the bike carrier in different phases.
This chapter describes these phases in detail, in the succession required.
Phase 1
1) Open the tyre retainer belts, insert the first bike into the bike carrier from one side, with the handlebar
towards the left, then fix it on the U-bracket with the bearing arm.12
Phase 2
2) Insert the second bike in the opposite direction and fix it in place with the bearing arm Fig. F
Phase 3
3) Fix all the bikes again with the tyre retainer belt Fig.D
Phase 4
4) Both the bikes must also be strapped to the U-bracket with the supplied belt.
9. How to open the boot
Phase 1
Hold the bike carrier with one hand, pull the lever of the opening mechanism with the other and allow the
bike carrier to slowly open.
Phase 2
Set the bike carrier back in position before driving again!
Warning: the opening mechanism must snap fully in position.
Warning: according to22 of code StVZO, the driver is responsible for the safety of the load.
During the trip check regularly the rear mounted bike carrier through the rear view mirror of the
car.
Stop immediately in case of a change of the bike carrier. Try to start the travel only after having resolved
the problem.
DANGER OF LESION!
In the area of rotation of the rear mounted bike carrier must be neither people nor objects.
SUGGESTIONS FOR A DRIVING STYLE MODIFIED!
DANGER OF LESION AND ACCIDENT!
Because of the rear mounted bike carrier that sticks out from the car and in cargo presence, it can take
place a greater tendency to over-steering, a various behavior in case of cross-wind and a various behavior
in case of braking, particularly on a bend. A loss of control of the car could take place causing an accident
that could damage you or other persons.
Guide with caution and adapt the speed to the type of road.
Do not cover the cargo with a plastic or similar material in any case, as these could influence on the state
of guide.
Traveling with the rear mounted bike carrier fixed on the car make the possible to move the cargo of the
trunk towards the front part thus to prevent an excessive rear loading.
Control the shocks-absorber regularly.
IMPORTANT!
The driver must make sure that the cable of connection between the rear mounted bike carrier and the
motor vehicle does not touch the ground and that not there are objects that can be entangled so as to avoid
that the connection cable can be torn.
Eventually fix the cable up.
Before every travel verify the functionality of the device of lighting system of the rear mounted bike
carrier. In order to prevent damages during the maneuvers do not leave the rear mounted bike carrier
fixed to the motor vehicle more of the necessary.
IMPORTANT!
The rear mounted bike carrier must be mounted to closed door.
Replace the straps in case of wear and tear and damages.
10. Antitheft device ( only for TB-005 auto-connect coupler)
Rear tow bar bike carrier with antitheft device:
First of all take away the key and push in order to engage the closing cylinder.
To unlock the antitheft device fit the key into the lock and turn it on the left.
Before the first travel don’t forget to control that the bike carrier has been locked and that the key has
been taken away.
To prevent the bicycles from being stolen:
Use one of the profex coiled wires available in the shops to fasten the bikes, if a third (or fourth) bikes is
transported:
11. Recommendations for maintenance and storage
- Thoroughly clean the bike carrier with a damp cloth.
- Do not use chemical detergents.
- Make sure that the vehicle’s tow hook is dry and free from grease.
- Store the bike carrier indoors, in a dry place (cellar, garage).
12. Environmental and disposal recommendations
Strictly comply with the following recommendations in order to dispose of the packaging materials and
product in compliance with the laws concerning the environment.
Disposal of the packaging materials
Note: The packaging materials must be disposed of by methods able to safeguard the environment
(paper and cardboard in the dedicated street litter bin. Plastic in the dedicated street litter bin, metal
packaging materials in the dedicated litter bin).
Definitive disposal of the product
Warning: Respect the environment when disposing of the bike carrier. Do not litter.
The metal parts (screws, nuts, frame, profiles, etc.) must be disposed of as plastic waste.
The glass parts of the light cluster must be disposed of in the bottle bank.
13.Warranty, assistance, manufacturer
The manufacturer provides a 24 month or 36 month warranty on all the bearing parts of this bike carrier
for tow hook.
Contact your dealer for all requests under guarantee.
General Wolder S.A. declines every responsibility for any lesions or damages to the things which
took place during the application or wrong use of the product.
The product DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MODIFIED ON SOME WAY.
If in the car it is in equipment an automatic system of opening of the trunk, this function must be
switch-off and the trunk must be open manually with the bike carrier mounted.
