Organic Farm-to-Table Dinner at Blooming Hill Farm
Chefs from some of the best restaurants in New York City come to Blooming Hill
Farm, located in Blooming Grove, NY (30 minutes north of the school) and prepare a
fabulous meal on the last Saturday of the month from now through harvest season. The

Dream Race Car Experience
After a short safety presentation and an overview lesson on the cars (how to shift gears,
parking brake location, etc.), you hit the road! The winner will drive six different cars
for 20-30 minutes each on open roadways specifically chosen for this event. The cars
currently being offered are the Ferrari F430, F430 Spider, and 360 Spider,
the Lamborghini Gallardo, Gallardo Spyder, Murcielago and Murcielago Roadster,
the Bentley Continental GTC, the Aston Martin DB9, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG,
and the Ferrari-powered 400hp Maserati GranTurismo.
Gotham Dream Cars, an established company, has been in business for about five
years. The race car event starts and ends in Englewood, NJ. Breakfast/lunch provided
(depending on lesson start time). Lesson lasts one and a half hours. Instructors include
test drivers from Lamborghini, Ferrari, or other prestigious companies. Most often, the
instructor is Noah Lehmann-Haupt, who is also the president of Gotham Dream Cars.
The cars all have two-way radios, to allow contact with the instructor and the other
drivers. There is a lead car and a support vehicle at the rear. You drive on Interstates,
winding back roads, and on a few main streets, so you can have some fun flaunting.
Accommodations are flexible, with about 50 dates to choose from in the New York
area in a given year. Offices also located in Delray Beach , Florida (though with fewer
days to choose from).

swimming, games, cooking, woodworking, archery, overnights, hobby times,
storytelling, and parent evenings! The Nature Place Day Camp is designed to nurture a

Metropolitan Opera Tickets and Backstage Tour
Two $200+ seats in Orchestra Prime (or comparable) for shows that become available
about 3 weeks ahead of performance. MONDAY through THURSDAY evening
performances only (NO weekend or matinee availability.) ONLY 2 tickets, ONLY 2
people on the tour. NO new productions or Wagner's Ring Cycle.
Tour is best in the hour before the house opens or in late afternoon (approx. 4pm or
6pm.): go to dinner before the show! Tour can be on another night from the show.
Possibly 3 weeks' notice or less on show date. Last-minute chances for a show may be
offered and might be a great opportunity, but could be turned down by the bid winners
in favor of another show.

Dinner and Tour for Four at Newest Restaurant at the Culinary
Institute of America
Dinner for four at The Bocuse Restaurant, located at the Culinary Institute of America
(CIA) in Hyde Park, NY. The restaurant just opened and features French cuisine at its
best. You and your three guests will join Green Meadow parent and CIA-trained Chef
Anthony LoPinto and his wife Jeannette for a fabulous dinner, followed by an
exclusive private tour of the kitchen. You will be chauffeurred to Hyde Park by Chef
Anthony himself, who will also provide homemade macaroons for the trip home.
All the award-winning restaurants at the CIA are part of the students’ educational
experience. Each student spends time in both the front and back of the house to learn
and master the full scope of restaurant operations. Under the guidance of expert

cafes, a variety of shops for shopping on any budget, and a fantastic grocery store with
biodynamic and organic local foods. A large and established Waldorf School is located near the
town and has an amazing store and cafe filled with wonderful European treats such as cheeses
and meats, all biodynamic or organic as well. A nearby town called Meersburg has a medieval
castle that can be toured. There is also a spectacular island in the lake that serves as a kind of
botanical garden. And day trips to other surrounding castles, as well as the Swiss Alps, can
easily be done. There is so much to do in and nearby Ueberlingen but it is also a wonderful
place to simply relax. Enjoy the bath house, the beach, the lovely shops, the huge farmers'
market, the pubs, and the flowers.

Handmade Viola
Made by Paul Hart for Eric Chapmen Violins, Inc. in 1987, this viola is full size, has a
beautiful large sound, carries the low notes especially well. It's previous owner named
it "Ursa" for that quality. The viola comes with a hard viola case, with a burgundy
interior and a brown canvas cover. There is no bow. The instrument hasn't been played
for a few years and Jennifer, the previous owner, hopes another student will learn to
play it with love.
