Strapping the knee ligaments is intended to strengthen the
collateral ligaments and to prevent the joint from rotating.
The lower flexible straps resting on the anterior tuberosity are
symmetrically tightened towards the rear of the thigh. They limit
rotation of the femur on the tibial plateau. The upper straps
strengthen the collateral ligaments and form a ring that centres
the patella.

Provides an extra dimension of relief for painful and weakened
knees. The strap applies pressure upon the patella tendon below
the kneecap to stabilise and tighten up the kneecap mechanism,
which improves patella tracking and elevation and reduces patella
subluxation. It adds further strengthening to the kneecap
mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the
kneecap. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the
patella tendon and erosion of the undersurface of the kneecap due
to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q angle). Constant
dynamic forces are applied to the surrounding areas of the knee,

The Adjustable Knee features an infinitely adjustable

to help guide settings.

Push ACL’s construction makes for effective support and easy,
no-hassle use.
The functional frame consists of two stays that are connected
by two shells at the front and four bandages straps at the back.
The leaf spring system in the stays guides the flexion and
extension of the knee and provides medial and lateral stability.
Since there are no axles in the leaf spring system that can
affect or influence motion, the knee can follow its natural pattern

The Dyna Ankle orthosis places the foot in moderate pronation
and dorsiflexion. The dynamic restraint limits plantar flexion and
supination while preserving the range of motion in pronation and
dorsiflexion. Positioning the orthosis with the dynamic strap
provides relief of the anterior talofibular ligament. The trimlines
and straps are positioned to leave the outer ankle free, avoiding

ToeOFF is a lightweight carbon reinforced rehabilitation gait orthosis
for the lower extremity. It is worn on the anterior aspect of the leg,
bridging the ankle and preventing plantar flexion. The orthosis is

action of toe-off, thus achieving a more normal and dynamic gait.
The name ToeOFF relates to the ‘push’ the patient gets at toe-off

For the treatment of hip dysplasia in infants, flexion of the hip
joints in excess of 90° with controlled medium abduction is the
best pre-requisite for correction of the hip joints suffering from
delayed development. The thigh supports are connected to the
shoulder harness with two beaded cords used to establish the
reproducible hip flexion setting. The desired degree of abduction
is adjustable using a spreader bar with ratchet elements. It also
prevents the legs from falling to the outside due to their own
weight, since undesirable increased abduction is probably one
of the main reasons for hip head necrosis.

1 Junior Formthotics
Junior Formthotics are soft, flexible foot orthoses,
especially developed for children. They are designed
to help the child’s foot assume its natural posture
inside the shoe, thereby enhancing the development
of the child’s musculoskeletal system.
The most effective foot orthoses is the one that kids will wear.
So with patient compliance in mind, Junior utilises some special
features to provide gentle forgiving support and comfort.
Junior Medial Heel Skive:
The medial heel skive carefully increases the force the orthosis
applies to the foot medial to the subtalar joint axis, reducing
rearfoot eversion. This helps to manage rearfoot pronation
without the need for excessive arch height in the orthosis,
increasing patient compliance.
Junior Heel Cup:
The medial heel wedge carefully increases the force the orthosis
applies to the foot medial to the subtalar joint axis, reducing
rearfoot eversion.
Deep Heel Cup:
The deep heel cup increases the medial surface area of the
orthoses next to the foot, making the heel wedge even more
effective. The heel cup is also designed to wrap around the
back of the foot providing additional rearfoot stability.
Wide Medial Flange:
The wide medial flange cradles the child’s medial arch, providing
long-term comfort and reducing fatigue by redistributing weight
and pressure evenly.
Junior Formthotics are available in 4 sizes to suit children from
about 3 to 9 years of age. They are suitable for use where careful
management of the hypermobile or excessively pronated foot
or encouragement of normal development and foot function
is required in treatment of your paediatric patients. Each pair
of Junior Formthotics contains a colouring book.

Combines a splint and an elevating support into one positioner.
Anatomically correct foam positioning splint helps reduce oedema.
Positions the hand in a resting position, with the wrist in 30° of
extension, the MCPs in 60° of flexion, and the IPs slightly flexed.
Elevator positions the forearm in mild supination and the thumb
and fingers in a reflex inhibiting position. For use in bed or on a
half or full lap tray or arm trough. Open cell foam support can be
modified with an electric knife for a custom fit.
