Our next social outing will be January
th
16 at Fox and Hound to watch the
Blackhawks. We will be having a
Wolves outing on February 28th.
Happy New Year!!!!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful
holiday season and here is to a happy,
healthy, and prosperous 2015 to us all.
It is hard to believe that all the planning
and efforts made for the holidays are
over just like that. It is similar in many
ways to all the planning and efforts that
go into a ski trip and just like that the trip
is here and then the trip is over with
wonderful memories, pictures, and
souvenirs all that is left from the trip.
Hopefully you can join us at one of our
upcoming meetings, social events, or
one of our trips.
Hope you had a fantastic 2014 and here
is to an even better 2015!
Russ
Last month we had our holiday party
and we had quite a few come out that
we do not see very often as well as
members that are usually able to make
it to our meetings. Tony Zasadney has
provided a wonderful article with
pictures of our holiday party. We also
had our restaurant of the month on
December 5th that was fairly well
attended.
Coming up we will be having a bus trip
on February 20th-22nd up to
Indianhead/BlackJack that we will corun with Four Winds Ski Club. The next
trip will be a bus trip to the lodge on
March 13th-15th for skiing at Boyne
Highlands and their annual beverage
tasting. All of the trips are family
friendly and open to all members. In
addition for those who are members of
other CMSC clubs you can join our club
for a significantly reduced price and still
go on any of these club sponsored trips.

Seen at the event were Jackie Uznanski, Nancy Uznanski, Jack
Gildroy; Diane Butler, Pat Mitchell, Kathy Mitchell, Dave

Kevin Smith, Mary Grzelak, Dave Breyer, Dennis Uchimoto and
his friend, this writer/snapshooter and, of course, our event

A good time was had by all. Please plan to attend with the
Oak Park Ski Club next year. Thanks for a fun and well
executed event, Sheri.

A Satisfied Raffle Winner
Not you, Dave. Lucky Kathy Mitchell walks away with her heavy evening prize. Dave "North Pole"
Breyer looks astonished - it's all chance, fella. Maybe next year it'll be your turn.
Judy Kraus seems to
be thinking, "I don't want any carrot-nosed snowman - I want that fancy pillow."
Yo! Threesome!
We see Bobbi Roberts (who's wearing a bright red sweater showing Betty Boop waiting to get more she's about as naughty as a girl should get), with her date Pete Groepper;
and Diane B. completing the tripoletto.
Another Threesome?
Long-time OPSC member Kevin Smith with Mark Peninno on the left and Judy Kraus on the right.
Go, Blackhawks!!
Our lovely Champps waitress Rachel, wearing a striking Blackhawks team tee, very kindly agreed to
pose with OPSC PR photographer, Tony Z
(shot snapped by Dave Breyer).
Been a Long yet Sociable Evening at the Party
But it's time to go home - surrounding a box of sundries we see, L to R: Jackie Uznanski, Nancy
Uznanski, and Sheri B. Standing in the entry is Jack Gildroy.
Some of the Party Goers
