The route is a loop between Trivero and Bielmonte, with stops at Oasi Zegna facili es, including the picturesque Piana del Ponte refuge.
Trekking amidst the breath-taking horizons of Oasi Zegna for all lovers of the mountains and
discovery of the historical, geological and natural heritage of the Biella Alps. On this adventurous four-day trek in search of our roots we will rediscover together the profound bonds
between man and the environment.

Start from Trivero and up towards Piana di Stavello.
Ascent of monte Rubello, a very picturesque and
panoramic place associated with the story of Fra
Dolcino (14th century). Lunch break. The route now
follows the path leading to Bocche.a di Margosio
and then Bocche.a di Luvera. Rest point, a0er which
on towards Alpe Moncerchio skir1ng the Rocca
dell'Argimonia. Back to Bielmonte (overnight stay)
Trek 2
Bielmonte - Monte Marca - Bocche o Sessera Bosco del Sorriso - Alpe Montuccia – Bocche o Sessera Alpe Scheggiola - Piana del Ponte
From the plaza in Bielmonte the route climbs to the
Monte Marca alpine hut and its splendid panorama
across the plains. Now along the crest path to Bocche.o Sessera, point of departure for visi1ng the
Forest of Smiles. On this 4.8 km loop, which also
enters the uncontaminated Upper Val Sessera, it’s
possible to enjoy a unique experience of the beneficial effects of the electromagne1c fields created by
the trees. Lunch break at Bocche.o Sessera followed
by a nature walk to discover the species that’s the
emblem of Oasi Zegna, the Carabus Olympiae, and
then to Piana del Ponte (refuge). Overnight stay.

From Piana del Ponte the route follows the educa1onal path to the archeo-mineralogical site at Rondolere, where magne1te was once mined. Then
through the woods to Tegge Ar1gnaga, a typical
grouping of rural buildings serving pastoralism.
Lunch break in this enchanted place where past
and present blend in unusual harmony. A0er lunch,
up to Cima del Bonom and then along the panoramic path following the crest to the top of the Mon1cchio. Down to Bocche.o Sessera and overnight
stay.
Trek 4
Bocche o Sessera - Santuario del Mazzucco - Piane di
Veglio - Boschi - Capomosso - Santuario Brughiera –
Trivero
The route follows the "strada dell'alpe", a path
used for centuries for the transhumance of ca.le
to and from the alpine pastures and linking Bocche.o Sessera with Camandona. The path then
goes through woods and pastures to Piane di Veglio and Santuario della Brughiera. The sanctuary
complex in the enchan1ng village of Brughiera
consists of two religious buildings. The smaller
church (built at the beginning of the 16th century)
has numerous frescoes and a pain1ng on wood
depic1ng the Virgin (18th cent.), while the other
one was built in the 17th century to accommodate
the growing stream of pilgrims. Lunch break and
back to Trivero. End point of i1nerary.
