Croatia extends from the furthest eastern edges of the Alps in the north-west to the Pannonian lowlands
and the banks of the Danube in the east; its central region is covered by the Dinara mountain range, and
its southern parts extend to the coast of the Adriatic Sea.

Croatia has three climate zones; the prevailing climate in the country's interior is moderately rainy; on the highest

climate with a large number of sunny days; summers are dry and hot, winters mild and wet with significant
precipitations. Average temperatures in the interior: January -2 to 0°C, somewhat lower at the highest altitudes;
August - about 20°C and about 12°C on the highest peaks. Average temperature in the littoral: January - 5 to 9°C,
August - 22 to 25°C; sea temperature in winter: 2°C; in summer, about 25°C

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, departure for Vara`din. This "City of Baroque" or

Trako{}an.
Visit of this magnificent 13th century gothic
style structure, Croatia's best known and

largest caves in Europe. Accommodation

Day 6: Postojna - Bled - Ljubljana
After breakfast, departure for Bled, an
enchanting resort town by the lakeshore,
at the foot of the Julian Alps. Upon arrival,
sightseeing tour of the fairy-tale castle
Bled and the medieval city perched on a
high cliff above the lake. Ride on a traditional boat "Pletna" to the small island in
the middle of the lake, comprising the

Day 7: Ljubljana - Zagreb

Day 3 - 5: Split - Me|ugorje
After breakfast, departure for Me|ugorje one of the most visited pilgrimage places
among Catholics. According the testimony
of 6 young parishioners, the Blessed Virgin
Mary appeared in the parish of Me|ugorje
on June 24, 1981. That day visionaries were
frightened by the apparition of Our Lady
and ran away. On the following day, June
25, 1981 they responded to Our Lady's call
and went to Apparition Hill, where for the
first time prayed and spoke to her. That is
the reason why June 25 is celebrated as
the anniversary of the apparitions of the
Queen of Peace, as Our lady introduced
herself. Dinner and overnight at hotel in
Me|ugorje.
Day 6: Me|ugorje - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, return to Dubrovnik. Day
at disposal for individual activities.

excursion to Istria. Drive through the
inland of the Istrian peninsula via Pazin,
towards the west coast and Pula, the oldest town on the Eastern Adriatic coast.
Sightseeing of Pula including a beautiful
Roman amphitheatre - the Arena. Later,
procedure for Rovinj. Visit to the city
centre. Continuation for Pore~ and visit to
the famous basilica of St Euphrasius (6th
century) known for its splendid mosaics.

adventurer. Visit to city's well preserved
town walls from 13th century and a beautiful St Mark's Cathedral - the most important building in Kor~ula. Return to
Dubrovnik in late afternoon, dinner and
overnight.
Day 9: Dubrovnik - Montenegro, Budva
After breakfast, departure for
Montenegro, former Yugoslav republic.
Drive to Kotor, a town that was inhabited
even at the times of the Illyrians. Short
sightseeing tour of the old city and continuation towards Budva. Upon arrival,
accommodation at hotel. Afternoon free
at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Budva - Skadar Lake - Sveti
Stefan - Budva
After breakfast, departure on full day
excursion to the Skadar Lake and
National Park. Skadar Lake is the biggest
lake in Balkan region. Two thirds of the
lake belong to Montenegro and this part is
the National Park and one third belongs to
Albania. On the way back to Budva short
stop to visit St Stefan, today a luxurious
resort that once used to be a small fishing
village. Dinner and overnight at Budva.
Day 11: Budva - Cetinje - Cavtat Dubrovnik
After breakfast, departure for Cetinje, once
the capital of Montenegro. Short sightseeing tour of King Nicola's Castle.
Continuation towards Cavtat, well-known
summer resort which Edward VIII and
Wallace Simpson chose for their honeymoons. Visit to the city centre. Arrival in
Dubrovnik in the afternoon, accommodation and dinner. Overnight.
Day 12: Dubrovnik - Departure
After breakfast, free time until transfer to
Dubrovnik Airport.

ferry port Split to Hotel in Trilj. Authentic

We take the bus from Trilj located 29 km
from Split and arrive to the waterfront in
Split, the biggest town in Dalmatia, cultural
and administrative center of the County.
The spirit and charm of both the
Mediterranean and primarily Croatian
warmth are still alive in Split. The first
resident of Split was the Emperor
Diocletian, who in 293 B.C. built the
Emperor's Palace of 300.000 m2 after
withdrawing from the throne as the
Roman Emperor. Throughout history, the
Palace became a town by settling of
refugees from Salona. Thanks to 1.700
years of people continuously living in the
Palace, numerous constructions from the
ancient times have been preserved. We
will be able to feel special and unique way
of life of the Split residents by riding our
bikes through the narrow stone streets of
Diocletian Palace and charming Split
squares. After sightseeing ancient
monuments, Sv.Duje (St. Duje) cathedral
and imposing Peristil, we leave Diocletian
Palace, part of Split under the protectorate

of UNESCO and continue our 20 km bike
ride to Trogir, a small town in central
Dalmatia - Town museum with over 2.800
years of history which is also under the
protectorate of UNESCO. Rich heritage,
original historical constructions, beautiful
stone streets are part of the ambiance in
which Trogir residents live light-heartedly.
There are many anonymous stone houses

main Trogir square has special charm
with its Cathedral and Rector's Palace
which is the goal of our biking group. After
lunch in Trogir, we continue our ride to
Primosten through typical central
Dalmatian landscapes, with beautiful bays
all the way to Primosten's vineyards which
are protected landscape of vineyard
complex cleared by hard-working local
farmers. Dinner and overnight in
Primosten or Trilj.
Day 3: Primo{ten - [ibenik - National park
"Slapovi Krke" (Krka falls) - Skradin >

We start our morning by sightseeing
Primosten, a small Dalmatian town with a
prominent traditional architecture, which
is 99 % surrounded by the sea and
represents a pearl of the Croatian Adriatic.
We continue with our bikes, following the
sky-blue bays all the way to Sibenik, an old
Croatian native town from 1290 which is
characterized by its special harmony of
urban poetics and its natural surroundings.
We will be able to feel that harmony upon
entering the town with our bikes, which on
one side has the bay and the mouth of river
Krka, and numerous colorful beautiful
islands in front of it. After riding around
numerous fortresses, we come to the
picturesque [ibenik square, famous for its
monumental Sv. Jakov (St. Jacob's)
Cathedral from 1402 which is under
UNESCO protectorate. After visiting the
Cathedral and having refreshments on the
square, we continue our ride into the
hinterland towards the National Park
"Slapovi Krke" (Krka Falls) where we have
lunch organized on agro - tourist
household with typical local dishes.
After lunch, we get a special treat - a ride
along 6 km long macadam road following
the river through unique natural beauties
of the national park, all the way to the
magnificent Krka Falls. After resting our
body and soul in the national park, we visit
Skradin and take the bus back to Trilj
where an authentic Cetina dinner is
prepared for us with music program in
Hotel Sv.Mihovil. Overnight in hotel in Trilj.
Day 4: Split - departure
Trilj - transfer to the Airport or ferry port
Split. The end of the Tour.

or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents. Kompas can not accept
responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to
decline to accept or retain any tour passenger should such person's health or general deportment impede the operation of
the tour to the detriment of other passengers.
Furthermore, vouchers or tickets issued are subject to all laws, conditions and regulations as imposed by local authorities
and governmental administration in countries visited. Under no condition will any liability en excess of that dictated by law be
recognized.
Disabled persons:
Any person who can not travel independently or who need any form of assistance must be accompanied by a companion
who will be able to assist this person.
