This professional range of cascadable multiswitches is the most
flexible system of the market, allowing to increase the number of
satellite inputs for any of the situations of reception.
This new generation of multiswitches is stacked by sliding an
additional multiswitch on top of the first unit already installed.
Thereby, the headend can be expanded in depth with a minimum
number of modifications and requiring same space for it.
FIRST UNIT
OUTPUT SATELLITES

(mixing satellites from both first and second unites)
The connection between receiver outputs to the loop-inputs
is made by special coaxial leads featuring quick-type connectors
for ease of installation.

SAT C, D
The Multimat 2 units are made of diecast. An ABS plastic cover
protect the unit and connectors by means of plastic slides on
both ends of the unit.
Multimat 2 includes a range of accessories such as an easy low
loss 9 and 17 way plug-in TAP for the main trunk line (1 dB) to
allow big low loss IF-networks.
TAPs are designed for direct connection to the Multimat 2 multiswitch without additional cables.
The IF network can be designed using a minimum number
of amplifiers for mantaining the BER all along the cascade
system.
