memorable journey up the Baltoro Glacier to the confluence of the Godwin Austin Glacier and the Upper Baltoto Glacier, known as Concordia.

TREK SNAPSHOT
The trip commences in Islamabad where after a couple of days we fly
to Skardu . This flight will be a curtain raiser for scenery of the trip
affording you with spectacular views of the Karakoram range including
Nanga Parbat. We spend a couple of nights in Skardu before being
transported by jeep to the road head at Askole.
We follow the trail from the last village in the Braldu gorge at Askole
up the Baltoro glacier to Concordia with our route lined with the
rugged mountains all the way. You will be captivated with the sights
of Trango Towers, Masherbrum, K2 and Broad Peak among many
others. Concordia is a remarkable place being a vast amphitheatre of
giant peaks including four peaks over 8000mtrs being K2 ,Broad Peak,
Gasherbrum 1 and Gasherbrum 2. We spend a few days here that
includes a couple of nights at K2 Base Camp with a free day exploring
the area. We now trek back to Concordia before commencing the
start of the challenging trek over the Gondogoro La pass and descending into the beautiful Hushe valley. Back to Skardu for the flight back
to Islamabad where the trip finishes.

EXCLUSIONS
The following are not included in Dreamtreks K2 Base Camp and Gondogoro La trip and are at the expense of the traveller: international airfares, internal airport tax,
personal insurance , all required entry visas, tips, bottled water and alcoholic drinks, meals except where indicated (meals are generally included in all treks with the
exception of lunch and dinner in the cities - see the inclusions for each trip) , excess baggage charges , surface transfers in the event of internal flight
cancellations, sleeping bags and personal equipment of any kind beyond base camp , extra porter/ Emergency expenditure /Askari Aviation (Helicopter) services if any
required including any medications ,ground evacuations and helicopter rescue charges of any kind , all extra hotel charges such as room services, laundry, beverages,
phone/communication bills and items of personal nature , cargo clearing agent fee , any other service not mentioned

The following is a summary of our terms and conditions:
All bookings are to be accompanied by a non refundable deposit of $400. Full payment is required 60 days prior to departure and no refund will be provided for cancellations made after this date. It is up to you to ensure you are adequately fit and Dreamtreks accepts no responsibility for any issues arising due to lack of preparation on the
client’s part. We would highly recommend that you undergo a full medical check up prior to departure but it should be noted that physical fitness is no guarantee in preventing altitude sickness. Travel insurance is essential and should be taken out at the time of making the booking. You should consult your medical practitioner regarding
vaccinations recommended for the destination. Prices are based on costs and exchange rates applied when the brochure was printed. We reserve the right to amend the
price for any significant fluctuation in these costs and exchange rates at any time up to the departure date.
