– EPIDAURE – POROS – HYDRA – SPETSES – HERMIONI –EGINE – ATHENS –
DAY 1 - ATHENS :
Boarding at the main port of Athens (Piraeus) or the Zea marina, depending on the selected gulet. Boarding
is scheduled at 17:00 and the first night will be at the port for an early start the next morning.
DAY 2 – EPIDAURE :
Early departure for Epidaurus. The theater of Epidaurus was built in the fourth century BC to host
Asclépiéia, competitions in honor of the god of medicine Asclepius. It served as a model for many other
greek theaters. The sanctuary of Asclepius is a high-place of greek medicine, located in Argolis in the
edema of Epidaurus, about 10 km west of the small port town of Palea Epidavros. In ancient times,
pilgrims flocked from all over Greece for treatment in the sanctuary of Asclepius, god of healing. This
place
sheltered
very
reputable
doctors.
DAY 3 – POROS :
It is 31 nautical miles from Piraeus, which is connected by daily hydrofoils, flying dolphins or the highspeed boats, flying cats. Arriving in Poros, we are struck by the beauty of the site and the harmony of the
beautiful neoclassical houses built in amphitheater on the hill. The clock tower is the most remarkable
monument.
DAY- 4 : HYDRA :
The most beautiful island in the Saronic Gulf with the most beautiful port of the greek islands. The lack of
car gives it a certain character. The light is beautiful, that's why you will find here a lot of Athenian painters.
There prevails a nice atmosphere except weekend.
DAY- 5- SPETSES :
Spetses is a broad island absolutely magical. The largest city stretches along the rocky slopes and its narrow
cobbled streets are lined with elegant homes. Having been conquered by various powers over the centuries,
Spetses has many stories to tell you. A large number of Albanian Christians fled to the island to escape the
Turkish persecution and the role of the island was considerable during the Greek War of Independence, the
key figure being Bouboulina, an heroic woman. The sites on the island still continue to build fishing boats as
in the past
DAY -6 - HERMIONI :
Hermione is the name of an ancient city in the Peloponnese, in Greece. It is particularly mentioned by
Homer in the Catalogue of ships among the cities Argos which sent men to take Troy.
DAY -7- EGINE
Make a return from the island of Aegina and wet in Agia Marina. Disembark for the day because the island
is worth visiting. The visitors are attracted by the doric sanctuary of the goddess Aphaia which dominates
the region. The ruined city of Paleohora, once the capital of the island, is a site with a thirty churches
reflecting the greek architecture
