TUTORED TASTINGS IS A SERIES OF INTERACTIVE AND ENGAGING
seminars presented as part of Canada’s largest international wine event: the
Gourmet Food & Wine Expo. This is your opportunity to sample some of the
world’s finest wines and spirits with some of Canada’s leading experts.
Each session is an occasion to gain valuable insight into where these wines and
spirits come from, how they are made and how to serve them for best enjoyment.
Conducted in a classroom setting, our seminars are hosted by a who’s who of
celebrity sommeliers and distinguished experts.
In honour of the 20th anniversary of the Expo, we have brought together our
most impressive array of topics and presenters to make this the best Tutored
Tastings program yet. We’re thrilled to have Billy Munnelly, John Szabo and
Kevin Brauch back to share their wit and wisdom with you as well as some
seriously good products that they have discovered.
Also not to be missed are seminars hosted by top Toronto sommeliers Zoltan
Szabo, Jamie Drummond and Will Predhomme, who are excited to share some
favourite bottles from producers they believe to be among the best working in
the world of wine today.
With topics ranging from InterVin International Wine Awards gold medal
winners to wines inspired by the creative minds of rock stars, from how to taste
like a professional to a guided tour of Italy conducted by a veteran connoisseur,
there’s something for everyone. The top minds in wine are here to entertain and
educate as you taste and explore the wines and regions of the world.

effect it has on wine development.

CHRISTOPHER WATERS
Christopher Waters is co-founder and editor of VINES, a national consumer magazine aimed at
Canadians who buy, drink and enjoy wine and are passionate about the subject. His weekly wine
column, Waters & Wine, is syndicated in Sun Media newspapers across Ontario, Alberta, British
Columbia and Manitoba. In addition, Christopher is head judge of the InterVin International Wine
Awards and an educator at the Cool Climate Oenology & Viticulture Institute at Brock University.

development of Harrah’s Casino’s International Beverage Program, was a Product Consultant for the
